I absolutely love this interview because the interviewer is obviously a big fan of the book and the series and he has such good chemistry with Neil and David so it didn’t feel awkward, it just feels like some friends talking about something that I love so much 🥰

That is a game-changer. We watch movies with so much CGI etc. effects niwadays that I always assume that something is made digitally. And here in season 1 it was not entirely the case! Wow, I really appreciate that.

These are actually open captions, not closed! Though closed captions are available as well so that's good for people who might need to change the language or size etc..

I refuse to believe Good Omens is 30 years old, the implications of that regarding my age could be frightening. I still have my original copy around somewhere. Awesome book, awesome show... season 2 I am watching very, very slowly because it needs to last...

i love how neil looks like he could cry of pure joy whenever he listens to david talk about his role and the show in general, it's like he's realising how much his work is loved and understood, kind of like a proud dad to both david&michael but also the fandom and the book/show itself.

As the interview goes on, you can just see the years falling away from Neil and David's features, their whole faces light up and it's like the wrinkles and the eye bags disappear. It shows how passionate they are about Good Omens and their craft

I got a suspicion that both character would be literally merged or reincarnated as one character at the end. But I think it is too wild. Neil might think about it, but I don't think he would actually go there.

So many favorite lines in both the book and the series. Crowley talking to his plants, "I'm having a moment here" The moment when he says "We are F***ed!" and the part where Aziraphale threatens Crowley with "I'll never talk to you again!" the low key breakup that happens in the bandstand. The lines about ducks, the 'Oh lord heal this bike!" "Get in angel" "You've hit someone." "No I didn't, someone hit me." "You go too fast for me Crowley." Crowley talking to himself while getting pissed just before armageddon, him talking with Aziraphale in the same scene. "Stuff happened, I lost my best friend." Him searching for Aziraphale in the burning bookshop, the cheek he gives the firefighters just before that. SO many grate little moments.

I read Good Omens a while ago and found it very difficult to follow. Very distracted and fragmented storyline. However, I LOVED the tv series! It all made sense watching it and seeing actual characters. I binge watched the show and have since watched it 3 times, so far... They could not have picked at better cast. Also, the interviewer asks excellent questions; not the usual nonsense that is most often asked.
