جسٹس محمد کرم شاہ الازھری کی مایہ ناز تصنیف"ضیاء النبیﷺ" جدید اردو ادب کا بینظیر شہپارہ ھے اور بلا شک و شبہ اپنے سے ماقبل لکھے جانے والے ھر ادبی شہپارے سے اپنے اسلوب نگارش اور طرز تحریر میں نمایاں طور پر ممتاز ھے۔جہاں تک سیرت نگاری کا تعلق ھے تو ضیاء النبیﷺ اردو سیرت نگاری میں ایک درخشان اور ممتاز باب ھے تاہم قدرومنزلت کے اعتبار سے اس کا درجہ ڈاکٹر طاھر القادری کی "سیرۃ الرسولﷺ" کے بعد ھے۔ کیونکہ موضوعاتی جامعیت کے اعتبار سے "سیرۃ الرسولﷺ" نہ صرف اردو زبان میں تحریرکردہ ھر کتاب سیرت طیبہ سے افضل ھے بلکہ تمام دنیائے اسلام میں ھر کتاب سیرت پر فوقیت رکھتی ھے۔ تاہم یہ ماننا پڑے گا کہ "ضیاء النبیﷺ" کے پہلی اور آخری دو جلدیں بے مثال ھیں۔ سیرت رسول اللہﷺ کے بارے میں درکِ نور کے لیے ان کا مطالعہ ھر مسلمان اور ھر محقق کے انتہائی ضروری ھے۔ Zia-un-Nabi by Justice Muhammad Karam Al-Azhari is a peerless masterpiece of Modern Urdu Literature, and is undoubtedly distinctive in its elegant and precise style of writing and composition from any literary masterpiece written before it. So far as its rank as a book on the Sacred Seerat it may be ranked after "the Seera-tur-Rasool" by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadiri, for "Seerat-ur-Rasool", in thematic unity and comprehensibility, surpasses not only any seerah book written in Urdu but any seerah book composed in any language all over the world. However, "Zia-un-Nabi" has its first volume and last two volumes as being matchless in the World Seerat Literature. These three volumes are essential to be perused by every Muslim and every serious researcher to acquire paramount enlightenment about the Sacred Seerah of the Holy Prophetﷺ.
