Took my 2a to scotland from essex many years ago , it took 3 days , 1st stop north york moors , 2nd stop ambleside , ended up in a glen nevis campsite , deaf as a post . 45 mph all the way , being a diesel with a BMC taxi engine was challenging to say the least , but i loved it .
