It's still there, although it's quite different from what it was. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch and the store sells gifts, wine, groceries, and coffee. The space upstairs hosts events.

These Columbia moulded records are so hard to date. I have a dark brown wax moulded cylinder by the Columbia Quartet, in the same 9000 series as this cylinder.

It's hard to please everyone. Personally, I like how the ticking sound is all you hear - it really puts the watch into focus. Everything I know about the watch and the maker is written in the description.

A very swell rag indeed by the great two W's in 1901! I love Dan W Quinn he is such a great singer. The record is neat too I only have one in my collection, The Holy City by Harry Macdonough (1901) composed in 1892!

Yeah, it's a great tune. In addition to my collection of American Berliner records, I have about a dozen of these brown Berliner Concert Grand records. I also have about a dozen of the 7" black "Berliner Improved Gram-o-phone" records with old-time gold scroll lettering (pretty rare, pressed in Montreal circa 1901). I'll try to do videos with some of those records.
