I have a similar to this but with 1gig interfaces running ESXi and on that it's running Pfsense and Openmediavault for a 1Tb local storage. Never had any issues, solid as a rock. Have been running this setup for 3+ years

Boot environments are extremely convenient in pfSense. They allow for testing things providing a super-quick backout plan if the test is a failure. The way pfSense does the major upgrades on the boot environment (after creating a clone first) so the subsequent reboot doesn't take forever is quite nice too. I hope you are successful in getting this project into OPNsense... since I'm a recent convert from pfSense and miss it already ;)

I installed 8.2 on a minisforum ms01, all in cli seems to be in order. Have the correct nic in use, but no web access. What are the main issues one will have when this fails? Installed opnsense on another pc and no issues accessing that..

I tried to do this the way you did in the video there was a few issues I came across... first the driver location was F: not E: as it was in your video... second was that I tried to change the name on the shortcut to product server and it also wouldn't let me change it . and when i tried to run it anyway it said that The PC Must support TPM 2.0 - PC must support secure boot.... not sure how that works it is a gaming computer don't know if that makes a difference? But if you can help that would be great

I am confused. When the video started we were using the default boot environment. We created and activated the before_update boot environment prior to fetching and updating FreeBSD. My question is why after the reboot from the update are we not using the 14.0-RELEASE_2024-01-22_083550 boot environment? It would seem to me to reverse the update I would want to return from 14.0-RELEASE_2024-01-22_083550 to before_update. What am I not understanding?

Hi. Educational video but.... Tried this with a 5G/LTE router in bridged mode and then the ip number is locked. It cannot change the ip number when switching without me restarting the router or 5G device. What is this due to?

A few months ago my Ubiquiti Verify app asked for log in verification several times in a span of like 15 minutes. I first checked all my network devices before denying the request.
