yes! your hair is more of a thin curls/ waves nd it looks patchy nd can see skin! so you must brush it to look good , when everybody says "oh dont brush it!" their thinking of someone with full thick curls brushing their curls out , which dose rlly make it frizzy nd puffy, also im saying this as a full thick curly haired girl with so many straight her friends 😭(not being rude btw im js trying to normalize this)

Your hair in the second photo looks healthier simply because it was curled, you put products full of chemical ingredients that make the hair shiny but which in reality damage the hair from the inside . People who wash their hair every day should use organic shampoos or the damage will be visible in the long term. In addition, healthy hair is not necessarily ultra shiny and lustrous hair. That's simply a hair full of silicone (among other things).

I couldn't do that because I have really thick and a lot of hair but damn, she has pretty thin/little hair so that actually looked good.

PLEASE, tell me: how’s this haircut called?? What do you ask for the hairdresser when you get a cut (if you don’t do it yourself)?? And I have to say, definitely, many people don’t get fine hair doesn’t equal not full hair. Doesn’t equal unhealthy hair either. People naturally have hair this way (and, for us, is not a product of hair damaging)… Hair thinness/ thickness has to do with the width of your strands! Hair fullness has to do with the amount of strands all over your scalp! Naturally, I have very thin, but very full, 3A hair. Rn, my hair is less full due to health reasons (which I have faith in the Lord that will get better), but it can easily build volume bc of how full it is.
