Hi Ed. Great look on the stone tanks. Thanks for showing us how you did them. I would love to know where you got the tank panels? Thanks for all your hard work.

13 years after uploading and this video came in clutch! Just removed pinstripes off my HD. Took like 5 coats total but my bags look perfect, can't even tell the stripes were ever there.

Boy, if that was the result of what I paid for, I'd be pissed. Those dont look like chrome emblems at all and washed out looking as heck.

Nice video. However, a critique. If a spider is in her web suspended above other objects, how would it make a shadow so prominent? I can understand if the spider is crawling on a solid object. But the background consists of web. Otherwise, good video.

I’m new to the carbon fiber being painted on, so my question is what’s a good way to add a little depth to the carbon fiber look after you’ve done the stencil and sprayed your color on top of it maybe mix a little black, but really really watery and knock that over it just a little bit. Just curious thanks for any help provided by anybody out there.

Thanks! I plan to do a smaller RF on my door jamb but what about polyurethane and clear. I use poly base and high solids urechem glamor clear. What types of airbrush paint can is use on top of my green poly base then clear over it with the HS clear?

Well, I have a Honda Valkyrie 1999 model. Got on here to try and remove the pinstripes off the tank, I laid it down one time and couldn't get it back up until I got help, the gas ran out of the tank and ate up the pinstripes on that side, so I wanted to get the blistered up part off as well as all the rest. Put oven cleaner on it, and it didn't touch it, not the stripe and not the glue holding them on. Those must have been some cheap-ass decals in your video. I tried this after spending about a half hour to get about 8 inches off with a heat gun and plastic scraper. Guess it's back to the heat and scrape.

I used easy off and a little heat from a heat gun. It worked great and didn’t hurt the clear coat at all. I used the heat gun because it was a bit cool out side. Use heat gun sparingly.
