It is unbelievable that if they updated the graphics of PD2 and nothnling more it would be way better then current PD3.

As someone who has put probably 50hrs over several attempts at trying Payday 2 I could never do it. Built upon way too rocky of a foundation for my tastes (racing game engine). I was an also solo player which was probably 95% of my problems, but I was looking forward to 3 in case there were some added singleplayer options. Very sad to see it turn out this way, as I would imagine a game where offline you could control 3 other (actually competent) AI squad members who could excel at stealth options would sell very well. Alas, not what the cards held.

They never finished the PS4 or the Xbox version. Left abandon. There still bugs in there game locks up at 1 hour and 45 mins game Play or freeze with buzzing sound while switching characters characters clothes or guns in menu . Or show pink or green or red shapes in safe area

4 months later, still terrible medic bag update sucked added like 1 map their next update is to add like 1 mask in this time in payday 2's lifespan they already had triple the guns, quadruple the masks and triple the levels including dlc. These devs Don't care about your favourite ip just your wallet this game was a complete flop and feels like cod 764 Revenge of the micro transactions play payday 2, pretend this doesn't exist and you'll be happy

the problem with darktide is they directly lied about many of the features it would launch with like there being "hundreds of weapons" and varied skill trees when all but 1 of the class abilities are just kruber charges. they also said the customization feature would heavily influence your character's personality but they lied and the only thing it changes is adding 1 or 2 lines if you grew up on ONE planet.

I had hundreds of hours in payday 2 and got over 1200 achievements in it, and I'm glad i experienced payday 3 via the xbox gamepass, so i didnt get buyer's remorse

I play PD2 offline almost exclusively, all the new graphics and fixes and improvements to old mechanics almost made me buy it, but the moment I heard that it was online only, that shut down ever buying it for me. Still, I really want this game to turn around and be a success, I can true see the potential in this game, just make it playable offline, lower the prices, re add some of the old mechanics, and I think it could be a major success, like I said, I really was tempted to buy it, but the price and lack of offline play is the major thing holding me back

Thank you for this video. I played Payday 2 a lot on consoles but never got too into stealth goals and never played the stealth only heists. After finally getting a gaming PC, I'm now looking to complete all heists, including the 5 stealth only ones so this was a great starting point for me.

What tipped me off to the mess that this game would turn out to be was the fact that I looked at it and all the pre-/early release content and realized it really didn't innovate from Payday 2. I didn't see a reason to purchase a new game when the old one held more value.

Now Helldivers 2 did the weird thing of nerfing a pve game into the ground for some reason and ruining the fun of the game. It was odd, i still dont understand it.

I was hyped for payday 3 , then even though I tried for endless hours for 4 days to play the game, the servers were broken as you all remember. And I have not played it since. PAY TO PLAY, DAY 3!!!!

To be honest: Grabbed Crime Boss for 15 Bucks, expected nothing, but received pure enjoyment - thats the kind of goofy Heisting Game I needed as singleplayer.

I dropped pd2 when it started having a million different dlc packs, it annoyed me and the changes they made to the game just weren't for me but this is just sad to see they've fallen far from those early pd2 days

Why is payday 3 still 40$ at the baseline

As a returning PD2 player, I was soooo confused and put off by the shallow tutorial missions. The entire point of PD2 was to glamorize being a heister and introduce you to that life and culture. PD3 tutorial FIRST mission is just CoD simulator and all about shooting "naders" and trash. It explained zero useful mechanics and i had to use prior knowledge in PD2 to make any sense of the first couple missions. Theres no soul in it
