What kind of rope do you use for your reins? Great video, thank you.😊
@terribeecher1446 Жыл бұрын
We use mane horse hair. You want the diameter of the bosal and the mecate/rein to be the same.

Thanks for what is the best tutorial on tying the buckeroo square knot. You made it much easier to learn it by looking over your right shoulder. I bought my first Wild Rag from a friend who makes and sells them at Rodeos and western art shows. These Wild Rags/scarfs truly help get/keep you warm in the winter months here. Thanks again!

Ok like the video ,any pad for Western riding ,I have a 1" wool felt pad seems too thick ,used my cutter pad thinner saddle fits much better ,but when it gets sweaty,it slips ,
@terribeecher14463 жыл бұрын
We don't have issues with normal slipping but we don't believe in using the mesh on the bottom, we have seen that sore horses and put them in a cranky mood. The way we designed the pad helps it to contour to any horse/mule and saddle.

I agree with your wire demo in regards to the tree width however the 1/2" no contact gap in the middle of the bars isn't as big of a deal when the horse is in motion. The back muscles tighten and lift with every step at least a 1/2". As the horse gets worked more those muscles will develop bigger to fill in that gap

Thank you so much. I have been looking for a long time for a good video on how to use a wire/wither tracing to check saddle fit. Also, you gave a great explanation of why my horse has those dips in his shoulders and withers etc. It comes back to a saddle that doesn't fit right.
