During klondike days funny me and rolled up 40 joi ts meican smoked 39 before show started didnt say any backup band on tic so so excited when they said ladies and gents was expe ting kiss they said cheap trick i go to my bud who the hell is cheap trick but they were great seen them 47 yeRs later with rod stewart

This strati show was one ai regret missing.. Seen them live about 90 times now since 1988 - and still have yet to hear a Doctor tune played live.... Plus they opened with I can't understand it!

Layne the drug addicted singer is dead like the others who refuse to get help. Sure his voice was just right for AIC but he’s gone, now we have a singer who’s lying it down for us. You don’t have to like it but you can get your ass up there and give it a go. Respect your band support the local recovery programs for addicts and stop bitching enjoy this moment with AIC!

Love Cheap Trick. Met them and partied with them in the late '80's in Tampa. Super cool guys. They still bring it every show. I feel so bad for them wearing those jackets in the middle of summer in the super swampy heat of Flori-duh 😂🤣 Thanks for sharing this amazing show with us poor folks who wanted to be there but couldn't afford it.

I saw Cheap Trick in 1981. I was 14 years old. I'm 57 now, and these guys still know how to kick ass! They still know how to entertain a crowd.

I saw them in 1976 in grade school in Nashville Tennessee on vacation fell in love with him then and still a huge fan of them I am now about to hit the big 60 and I still love hearing your music every day and I’m glad they’re still into their 70s Carry On Cheap Trick..

I saw Cheap Trick with Ted Nugent in about 1980. It was at the county fair in Leesville Florida. There were over 5 thousand people there. Awesome!

In the late 70s at a Cheap Trick concert Rick Nielsen would throw-out actual KISS records during Surrender. This band still cooks in the 2020s.

@@jrb5353 would be cool but also he can’t play for more than 45 minutes at a time ( arthritis is a b*tch ). Also, it would either be him or Robin in the band. They can’t coexist for whatever reason. He stills get 25% of their earnings so I’m sure he’s doing fine.

I met Cheap Trick along with Joan Jett in 1988. I won backstage passes through a local radio contest. It was an awesome night.

It is especially sad that after so many years together, from a small band to mega stars, this relationship ended in a legal dispute. It is good that Bun E. at least kept his financial involvement.

Here's a group who still has it! Unlike a lot of groups from the same time you can tell that that Cheap Trick doesn't rely on backing tracks or any fakery of any kind! Robin,Rick and Tom still sound as they did many years ago!
