Suzuki V-Strom 800de are better for off road riding good low to mid range power tractability removable rear subframe better suspension and clearance and better protection underneath bike but the Honda is still doable and a nice bike still

Hey Phil has the Transalp got a low centre of gravity, a rode a Tuareg 660 and that had great balance but I like my Honda,s

Hi mate, sounds like we have similar backgrounds of bikes and ride styles. I’ve been looking at the. Transalp myself for the longer adv stuff with the good twin track stuff included,I realise it needs protection and suspension if your going to push, but I hear great things about the bike’s balance and LSGravity. Just wondering your thoughts after riding it for a while now, cheers Paul.

@user-xe6qq9zi8s very happy with the Transalp i rode a Africa Twin for 2 weeks in Europe and then the Transalp for a week also in Europe and was happier back on the transalp it was lighter on nearly as much power I don't think i will change the suspension i will just ride to the bike ability i am about 75 Kgs

Smart riding and nice to see how it handles these types of roads, lots of roads like this in my area. My Harley doesn't like them, shopping my next middleweight ADV for the backroads.

I could be wrong but that looks like you are out near my place. NE Gippsland? McKillops. I see this kind of thing a lot. I'm an old surfer who moved out to the bush to get away from the hustle bustle a decade or so ago. If it is the road I am thinking it is, we get a bit of adventure bike traffic from NSW on their way to the superbikes or Gp, as a shortcut, but generally it is a pretty quiet road and people start taking risks. Be careful folks and don't cut corners.
@perpetualgrin58043 ай бұрын
I agree McKillops rd is dangerous, so many blind corners, take your time & expect a car coming.
@TheFastphill3 ай бұрын
@yendor9078 i ridden McKillops a lot and surf at near Eden when there is Swell but this is Brindabella

@@TheFastphill Yeah I was clutching at straws. Lots of roads look like that. Yes good waves around that area. Salt Water is one of my favorites when it is working. Spend a lot of my time these days riding locally on my Royal Enfield Himalayan and my Sur-ron. Hey great channel and thanks for replying. I just subscribed. Just thought I would add, My mate cleaned up a bike cutting corners the 2 days ago. Rider was lucky and is okay, but has to pay for the trashed bumper on my mates patrol. On McKillops.
