I tried your suggestion on two Intex Salt Water systems and it did not eliminate the Low Salt error on either system. I removed the connections on the top two posts (white and black wires) and connected them to the posts below them. I have Black/White on the top psot and Red/Black on the bottom post. I still get Low Salt error 91. What am I doing wrong?

when plugging mine into the wall, it doesn't even sound like it's turning on, no noise what's so ever and waiting a bit and nothing, unsure what happened only had this for 2 days, and would return but already got rid of box and such.
@patburt95582 ай бұрын
I'm curious why instead of cutting the cord and stripping the wire, why didn't you just remove the 4 screws from the lower cover, loosen the terminal screws (that were already terminated with blade connectors)? would've been a 5 minute fix.

THIS IS NOT A FIX You are, by ignoring system troubleshooting, hot wiring the Cell to run continuously when it has power, Fully unregulated. In Fact that Corrosion Was the issue, In this case. The Correct procedure would be to clean the Corrosion fully from the Connecting points and the wiring connectors. Apply a dielectric grease and reassemble. The Second and most common cause is Titanium plate exhaustion due to wear. Replacement of the Plate or the system will get you back to swimming in a properly chlorinated pool Intex Generators Carry a 2yr warranty - (Because that is about the limit of the Titanium plates life) - for far less money than comparable sized units. The System cost considerably less to replace than the replacement Cell alone of other brands. 1/2 to 1/4 the price. - To Maximize Cell life - At pool opening, Test and adjust CYA(Stabilizer) as needed - Proper Stabilizer maximizes Chlorine efficiency as well as reducing length of time the Generator must run to keep proper Chlorine levels. Second - Test and Confirm Salt PPM in the (Filled to level) pool. * If the Pool was drained and stored, it has none. * If the Pool was partially drained, the Salt level is low Use on online Salt calculator and test result to calculate amount of salt(in Lbs) needed to Balance. An Unbalanced pool near max rating of Generator can demand 12hr cycles to maintain minimal Chlorine in sunny warm climates. A Balanced pool may only require 4hr-6hr daily cycles or less often. ****Keep a few gal. of liquid Chlorine shock handy for the season. When Demand is high - Excessive temperature and evaporation, Adding high amounts of water(check Balance of CYA/Salt), Heavy Use, Heavy Rain, excessive debris from storms - Pour in a few cups to a Gal.(Pool size) and check the Chlorine level after about 2 hours of Pump running. This is Cheaper than burning out the Generator prematurely.

@mikeh7044 ай бұрын
Order of installation, bottom to top: Pump, Check Valve, Shutoff Ball Valve. The Shutoff Ball Valve allows you to replace the pump or check valve in the future without water flowing from the pipe. This Union Connection is very helpful.

@texasroots6 ай бұрын
Sadly if you do not have nav there is no update. Mine is stuck on a solid white screen. Even stays on when I turn off the truck. Had to pull the fuse to get it to go off. Seems dealer may have an update even though the website doesn't. I'll call them tomorrow. If any ideas please let me know.

please let me know if my solution works for you!! I opened up my fridge earlier and the ice was all melted, after watching several videos I just got mad at the thing and banged on the temperature knob very hard. It started right back up. Sometimes it needs banged against for the knob to know where it’s set at.

Matt, you are dead on... I had a reformatted 16 GB drive sitting around, easily found my 2016 Tundra with Navigation that I uploaded then copied to the Flash Drive. I inserted into my USB port and received and error that media is in use, so I turned off my Bluetooth on my phone and restarted the truck and it recognized the Drive. I got to approximately 20% and it froze uploading twice. I sat at 20% for 10 min each time to make sure. Purchased a 32 GB today and tried again. It uploaded as you indicate and stopped at 20% for mayber 2 min then continued quickly to full install and the double checking was spot on as well.. Thanks for your efforts

What was the actual problem the thermostat?
@cwmson838110 ай бұрын
MH - Have you looked into voltage surge protection for your whole house, HVAC system, appliances, etc.? The HVAC man that installed our system new in 2019 was here on a recent service call and suggested a common (Type 3) surge protector at the 110/120V outlet, so I've been looking into it but can't find that folks commonly do this for HVAC surge protection - what I mostly find is either whole house surge protection added to the main breaker panel/fuse box or a lesser Type 2 surge protector wired to the line side of the outdoor box feeding the AC condenser unit. Do you think a common, Type 3 voltage surge protector at the wall power outlet for the indoor HVAC unit would provide decent protection for the transformer (and also therefore surge protection for the motherboard and thermostat)? We're in Southern CA near the coast and don't get much lightening, but we do have wildfires and brown-outs. Thank you. -CW

My mini fridge was less than six months old when the fan stopped. I can hear something kick on periodically, and the freezer works fine, but I have to leave the freezer door open so it cools the rest of the interior. When I googled, it just says best to replace the whole thing. Is it doomed? Could it be a quick easy fix?
