What you want me to be flowers and butterflies, while you call me, my family, AND my friends fat and stupid, because we live in a country that saved your countries ass a few times. Only the people who are younger 25 in the US are stupid.(I blame it on drugs and the fact that parents today just let their kids do whatever they want.)[Last year in my class two students just sat and texted on their phones without doing any work, the teacher didn't care and got fired.]

Steam engines also can be our future, because they don't need to burn coal; they can use any fuel that gets hot enough to boil water(Clean or dirty). I still take your comment as a insult, most likely along with others.

Also I read that in your "about me"(That you didn't put a soul thing about you...) you said that Einstein's theories on time would be proven wrong, you do know that a test with two atomic clocks, one in a plane one on the ground has proven that time is relative it your speed. The test showed that the faster you go the slower time progresses, it was only about a thousandth of a second or less I forgot what it said, but that still proved Einstein to be right.

Like picture said FUCK YOU!!!!!! I'm a 14 old American and I'm most likely smarter than you, can you restore a car or build a steam engine, or even explain how a steam engine works in super detail without a book? Answer probley NOT! So stop stereotyping because one guy couldn't tell the time. And I saw your cannel you are a nutcase so why are you even talking, and why am I bothering with a loony like you? I guess my rage to that comment.

The alien-looking grasshopper is kind of scary, but it looks great, as does the rest of the clock. I wonder how that look for the grasshopper was settled on.

John Taylor is an undoubted genius but, after intitial admiration, more depth of thought concluded that this clock is just a folly and a complete and utter waste of TIME. No doubt it will prove popular but only among the followers of Harry Potter.

Incredibly clever - every single function (seemingly random blinking, occasional slow seconds etc) is a product of the mechanical machinery of the clock - there are no separate devices, it's one mechanism. Also symbolically intelligent as a piece of art.

It looks horrible; the "creature" on the top, is it designed to frighten small children? And it is dishonest, the pendulum, the escapement, they have nothing to do with he time keeping, the whole thing is little more than a computer controlled automata. And whilst I am at it, strictly speaking it is not a "clock" because it does not strike the hours, it is a timepiece.

What a wonderfully creative way to tell the time! The creature, although not attractive to my eye, is fantastic to behold. The membrane over the eye that shuts every now and then, plus the system set up so that the lights appear to move. The whole piece is incredible, applause for the creator!!
