I guess they gave up? Didn't think the torque and the conversion of power would be too much? But its probably the price? because it looks expensive.

Hi, so when installing the chain, it does not matter the size of the cassette, right?
@CeramicSpeed
@CeramicSpeed 9 күн бұрын
Hi, Correct, as the chain is measured for the longest length possible while maintaining the minimum required chain tension, this will accommodate all approved cassette options for a given group set. The length of the OSPW cage makes this possible.

If the bearing knocks under load, is it broken or does cleaning and regreasing it work?
@CeramicSpeed
@CeramicSpeed 9 күн бұрын
Hi, It is unlikely that it would be broke. A knocking sound is most often related to lateral movement, either from preload spacing, cup in frame, or bearing in cup fitment. Checking and adjusting each of those as necessary would be the correct path.
@Eirikkinserdal
@Eirikkinserdal 7 күн бұрын
My bb is a t47a. I tried with another brand of BB and the knocking dissappeared. Should i try to clean and repack the bearings? I have only done 5k on them, so they shouldn't be broken 😅

Is there a way to remove dust cover without a proprietary tool?
@CeramicSpeed
@CeramicSpeed 9 күн бұрын
Hi, Yes, these can be done by hand most often, pulling straight out with your thumb or combination of thumb and fingers. The tool isn’t necessarily proprietary, it just simplifies the process where there is not much room to grab onto.

When setting b tension, should one use the original Shimano gauge or does the OSPW have their own specific clearence?

question, since I'm in the market to get me this cage: I have the XX SL original cage, and it is visibly twisted, the pulley wheels, including the so-called 'magic wheel' are not in the same plane, they follow and guide the chain perfectly, as they should have done for many years. a nice innovation. in your 3D rendering movie, I don't see this twist, and this unboxing is way too fast, it doesn't show the cage from those angles! this is a deal breaker, if your cage doesn't feature the same twist, I will not buy it! please reply fast, I don't want to delay my purchase. thank you!

Hi there, After thouroughly testing the stock SRAM cage, we found that there was lost friction due to "cross chaining" in the cage. And by straightening out the chain in the cage we prevented this loss of friction. I hope this helps.

It would have been good to actually show how to measure the chain to the correct size instead of just making us go search on CeramicSpeed's website for the information. Instructions on the website are not good and is missing what position the OSPW should be in when the chain is cut down to the proper size and connected.

It should go on sale end of March as far as I know. However we should check with our local dealer/bike shop on when they would expect it to arrive as well. I was just about to get one for my bike few weeks ago. However decided to wait and get the latest one since the release date was imminent

I hava a Time frame with ceramic speed BB386 (Sram DUB). Is there a "non-destructive" way to remove the bracket shell cup? by that I mean, without the need to hit out the bearing-cup with a hammer. I cannot find videos of BB386 where the shell cup is pressed out of the frame instead of into the frame
