The Mongol Empire conquered the Qara Khitai (Western Liao Empire, 1124 AD - 1218 AD) in the year 1218 AD. Genghis Khan general Jebe led army of 20,000 and DEFEATED the Naiman tribe prince Kuchlug force of over 30,000 in the Battle of the Qara Khitai capital Balasagun. Territories of the Qara Khitai were added to the Mongol Empire. Remark 1: Qocho Kingdom (843 AD - 1132 AD) was a Uyghur Kingdom created in 843 AD, founded by refugees fleeing the destruction of the Uyghur Khaganate (744 AD - 840 AD) after being driven out by the Yenisei Kirghiz from today's Republic of Khakassia of the Russian Federation. Uyghur made their winter capital in Qocho. Qocho Kingdom was a vassal state of the Western Liao Empire (1132 AD - 1209 AD) and a vassal state of the Mongol Empire (1209 AD - 1335 AD). Remark 2: Kara-Khanid Khanate (840 AD - 1089 AD) was a Karluk Turkic Khanate with its capital Balasagun, Great Seljuk Empire vassal (1089 AD - 1141 AD), Qara Khitai vassal (1141 AD - 1212 AD), and part of the Mongol Empire since 1212 AD. Remark 1 & 2 considered together: Uyghur Turks and Karluk Turks were Mongol Empire soldiers, who rebelled against Qara Khitai supremacy just like they rebelled against Second Turkic Khaganate centered on Ötüken in the upper reaches of the Orkhon River (founded by Ashina clan of the Göktürks) in 742 AD. How many Göktürks were ALIVE in 744 AD, after Uyghur-Karluk rebelion? Göktürks were slave-traders, just like Rouran Khaganate (330 AD - 555 AD) before them or Qara Khitai (1124 AD - 1218 AD). Question 1. Who gave military equipment to Göktürks in 552 AD? Question 2. Who gave military equipment to Uyghur and Karluk Turks in 742 AD? Question 3. Who gave military equipment to Yenisei Kirghiz? Question 4. Who gave military equipment to Genghis Khan? In the year of 1219 AD, the Mongol forces of 800,000 men under Genghis Khan (that is written in Muslim sources, some historians estimate only 75,000 men claiming Mongols tactical superiority, but think about slaughter of the people in Jin dynasty Beijing or Abbasid Caliphate Baghdad) invaded the lands of the Khwarazmian Empire in Central Asia. Genghis Khan was able to isolate and conquer the Transoxianan cities of Bukhara (less than 70,000 residents), Samarkand (100,000 residents), and Gurganj (less than 70,000 residents). "The massacre in Samarkand (capital city of Khwarazmian Empire with 100,000+ residents in 1220 AD, city in today's Uzbekistan) was so great that only enough people to fill a neighborhood were left alive." "Subutai captured the city of Rey (with 100,000+ residents in 1220 AD, city in today's Tehran metropolitan area with over 15 million residents), killing all the men and capturing women and children." Genghis Khan and his youngest son Tolui then laid waste to Khorasan, destroying Herat (40,000 residents), Nishapur (70,000 residents), and Merv (70,000 residents), three of the largest cities in the world. "The city of Nishapur fell. The Mongols massacred everyone, including women and babies." Ghazni (anciently known as Alexandria in Opiana) is a city in southeastern Afghanistan. Ghazni was the capital of the Ghaznavid Empire (977 AD - 1163 AD) and capital of the Khwarazmian Empire (1220 AD - 1221 AD). Battle of the Indus River in modern-day Pakistan on 24 November 1221 AD was Mongol Empire VICTORY against the Khwarazmian Empire. The Khwarazmian Empire casualties and losses during Mongols invasion were possibly as high as 10-15 million people. "Not even 10% of the Khwarazmian Empire people were left ALIVE after Mongols Invasion (1219 AD - 1221 AD)."

What do your research on multiple sources dude Mongols/Dunghu were mentioned in Ancient Chinese and Korean texts as back as 3rd centuary bc were ruiling family in Xiongnu later Sianbi empire and Rouran khagnate Mongol homeland was shared homeland of Mongols, Jurchid/Manchu, Iranic, Turkig people. While Turks were crushed by Chinese empire and migrated to west as defeated people Mongols stayed and resisted Chinese empire later founded the great Mongolian empire

The map of SE Asia isn't correct. It did not all belong to Khmer. At that time there were numerous kingdoms on the Indochinese peninsula, but the major ones were Khmer (ruled over modern Cambodia and much of Thailand as well as parts of Laos), Dai Viet (ruled over Northern Vietnam), Champa (ruled over Central and Southern Vietnam), plus a bunch of Mon states ruling over much of Burma and Northwestern Thailand, with the largest of them being Haripunjaya. And the Dali kingdom in Yunnan was an independent kingdom and not a part of Khmer.

Genghis Khan conquered the Western Liao Empire (Khitan 1124-1218) in Xinjiang in 1218, and then went to war with Khwarazm. Before Genghis Khan's death (1227), the Han Chinese (Song) and the Mongols were military allies and did not go to war. After the Mongols destroyed the Western Xia (Dangxiang) and Jin (Jurchen), they went to war with the Han Chinese in 1234. After 45 years and hundreds of battles, in 1279, the Han Chinese surrendered to Kublai Khan after receiving security guarantees.

It's a rather simplified account. For one, the concept of "Han Chinese" didn't exist at that time, and neither the Mongols nor the Sinitics themselves referred to the inhabitants of the Southern Song as Han. Secondly, while the ruling Zhao family of the Southern Song was undoubtedly Sinitic, many of their subjects were of native Tai-Kradai and Hmong-Mien descent.

At that time, there was no Karakhanid Khanate in Xinjiang, which had been destroyed for 100 years. Genghis Khan conquered the Western Liao Empire (1124-1218) in 1218 and then went to war with Khwarazm.

Enjoyed your video style and the use of the map. However, your narrative has many areas where you deviate from established literature and omit important things. A sample include - Genghis' attitude to the West, his reasons to come West, sequence of the battles for Otrar and Bukhara, I now of no source that says Genghis asked for Inalchuk to be turned over to him - rather he asked for him to be punished by Mohammed II and restitution. You're missing the action in Fergana Valley after the declaration of war. My sources include John Man and Jeremiah Curtin. Please review. It would be great tonhave this be more in line with establushed sources. This is a very important campaign - one of the greatest campaigns in Military History.
