What’s the difference between your New Haven recipe where you add the yeast separately?

Ok Tuan you are my new cooking go to! This is just like Totinos! We added another teaspoon of sugar to the sauce then it was exact. We forgot to bake the crust after frying it- would have been much more crispy. That’s on us. Finally, this sauce must have the fennel- then pure nirvana! The wife and I wanna send you a big squeeze! At last I can tell my grandchildren about sitting around the TV playing Atari and eating Totinos. … if I had grandkids. 😢😢😢😂😂😂😂😂😂 love ya man❤!

is there a difference in taste or health between pink salt #1 and regular store bought pink salt? and what is the celery seed intended for? flavor or also curing?

Store bought pink salt as in Himalayan salt? That and curing salt are different. Celery seed is for flavor. I apologize, I don't feel like I helped you much. Or if there was a misunderstanding.

I think you are really close. The style you did is Neapolitan pizza. Totinos patented the fried dough method US4170659A. Check it out and compare. There method is a little different.

I havent cooked this pizza yet but I made the dough lastnight. I just want to warn people the step at 2:35 where you add the rest of the water and yeast I thought was a complete disaster. The dough became a complete mess and I thought it was a goner. I kept working the dough in the bowl for 5+ minutes before it semi resembled a ball, then I put it on my counter top and began kneading it and it became a sticky mess again. I kept kneading it for 10+ minutes and finally it came together in a smooth ball. I'm typing this in case you were in my shoes and about to give up on it. Keep working on it and it should come together. The times are a little off\unclear in the description and video.

Coconut oil works just like lard. Better than olive. The tortillas will be so soft, stretch and flexible.
