And thanks for the knowledge of the video, I had no idea about the voltage issues u spoke about, I have a barbie jeep with the 1st gears removed and 2 18volt 9ah batteries and I also took the Escalade tires that are like triple the size of the jeep so it looks so damnn cool lifted and extra wide, and I wrapped the tires all 4 with mountain bike tires with huge knobbys, I'm 210lbs and the jeep roosts the grass up in my yard and also flips me str8 backwards not even just a wheelie it completely flips backwards, then the Escalade I took a hoover board battery out and use that 😂 my kids love it, but removing 1st gear ⛮ makes the top speed over 25 miles per hr but u have to be careful because it takes like 40ft to stop so you have to be in a open field

I dig it. My son's Jeep needed a new battery, ordered all the parts today. Everything except the low voltage cutoff will be here tomorrow!

We get about 30 minutes with a milwaukee m18 5ah battery when riding on uneven grass but we keep spare batteries in the trunk 😂. We never run out of juice 😊. Gonna grab a 12ah when they're on sale

What about overloading your motors ? Won't they burn out faster with 18v

You didn't show the wiring to the childs gas pedal. Obviously, she needs to be able to stop when necessary. Please show how. Thanks.

Hi I want to run this setup in my kids 24v academy Jeep. Is that voltage regulator able to step down from 36 to 24 volt? If so so I can order it from Amazon. Thanks waiting for your response.

Wow!! Extremely thorough explanation. Just what I was looking for. I’m looking to do the same thing. The power wheels I have has 4 24v motors. Will it matter on the voltage if I run two batteries in sequence?

Amazing video really appreciate this. I installed a m18 on my sons lightning McQueen directly onto a speed controller without the low voltage cut off and now will be adding the module. Luckily my batteries are safe 😅

Also just added almost everything on your list of supplies, except for battery. Hopefully you do get that small commission

So where can I find the info I need to buy? This will be my first time doing this so I’d like to do it right and safely. All I got because all I knew I needed was the red adapter with fuse and wires connected but I would like to know the rest I’ll need please

Hi! Great video! I was allways concerned about connecting two batteries in parallel due to mutual chargings, but I see that you have done it without any hasitation. Have you noticed any issue with such parrallel connection later on ? Thank!

Question - do you know if your dc speed controller ramps up the voltage? I have a 24-12v DC step down converter for my sons power wheels but I can’t get it to power the “high setting” consistently. I think it might be because the converter can’t handle the “instant on” of the power wheels pedal.
