In the US we call words that are spelled differently but sound the same homonyms. I have never heard of homophones. Just an FYI!

When my daughter's eye started drifting dead on2years old and she needed patching which came to nothing and glasses and I was devastated. When I look back now she's 19I realise how lucky I am to have a healthy daughter. My mom went through several hospitalisation with me~3a year minimum pretty much all the years from0~11yrs old. How is handsome Riley today in2024 as just found your channel today.

There may be days when you feel like you "Don't Got This" and that's understandable and that's OK. Let yourself feel that sadness as long as you need. Life with neurotypical children is hard enough and add in a special needs kid, you have to understand how much more exhausting- mentally and physically - it will be. Days will always run hot and cold, rough and fine. You already know this, because you've rode them out for years. Please remember to do good things for yourself when you're hitting these low troughs. Especially seek out a very in-tune friend; sit and let some of it out while having a break or blubber about life on the phone. Then hopefully end with a giggle or two and get back at 'er. I'm sending golden vibes to catch on a well deserved crying day. Signed: Been There, Still Doing It, mom.

My son was born without a butthole. Doc said it was his 2nd 1 in the 24 years hes been practicing. Everything else was fine. They flew himnto Maricopa County Hospital, Phoenix Arizona where they opened him up. It'd be my kid. 😂
