I unfortunately bought one of these also and it is extremely loud and shakes very badly. If you buy this it is as bad as everyone else says it is. They would not let me return it. They will send a Maytag repairman and he will inform you this is how they are made now. He will do absolutely nothing and will leave. So you will be stuck with it. I could not even sell the set for half price.

I got the same Maytag a few weeks ago .My old one was 23 years old. This one is one piece of junk , your right they went backwards. Can’t open the door to add somthing u forgot , takes an hour to start, is so much louder & sounds like a freaking tank, takes twice as long. I can’t believe I can hear it in basement from the second floor ! What a waste of money !!!

Never use that kind of nozzle on an expandable hose because you should never fill it up and block the water from coming out. Hose will burst eventually.

Thank you very, very much. one small orientation of the plastic insert made the whole difference for me. I spent hours and hours trying to identify why it was leaking and it seems like the plastic sleeve’s tapered one should face the end of the tube. That fixed it. Thanks again!
