Pro gun pro hunting but wish you would leave beavers alone. Are you one of these penises with a chainsaw that cuts down all the trees?
@MidGaPred4 ай бұрын
I’m not. These beavers are backing up water and ruining acres of farmers fields. It is nuisance control work. If someone could find a way to concentrate their work and use it where it’s needed that person could make a bunch of money. Thanks for your input

by far the hardest part of fasting is the boredom. If you've never done a multiday fast, you have no idea the enormous amount of your daily time is spent thinking about, preparing, or eating food. Depending on your lifestyle, it can be really hard to fill all that extra free time. If you want a fast to be easy, start it when you are very busy

I've been working at a body shop for a bit now and extra tips I learned was if you're painting the door, it's better to take off the mirror and belt molding (the trim at the bottom of the window) for a better paint job in the end. The mirror can get in the way, and if you're unlucky, the clear coat could stick in that gap between the door and the belt molding.

Don’t you love it when they don’t tell you they are about to plow field’s when you have traps out

How long did you leave your sets before pulling?
@MidGaPred5 ай бұрын
Think they were set 10-11 days on that first piece. A few sets of tracks showed back up, but nothing like the amount of sign that I set on originally. I’ll trap that place again in a couple months, but decided to pull up and add a small line right close to the house
@MidGaPred5 ай бұрын
They also had active pecan harvest and logging going on when I was there so I was real limited on where I could put sets without risking equipment loss. Hopefully both of those things will be a non issue when I make it back out

@@MidGaPred I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir here, but 3 weeks is the minimum time I’ll leave sets. We learned it sometimes takes 3-4 weeks for coyotes to get comfortable with sets or make their rounds again. Where my son traps and professional trapper comes in for 2 weeks and pulls. My son goes in right behind him and will have first night catches. Why? That coyote finally came back through or finally got used to something new in his area. Even the professional told me son he’ll set on sign, then doesn’t see anymore sign until he goes to pull. We’re just part time trappers so we set and leave it at least 3-4 weeks. Those coyotes know when somethings been disturbed or added and it sometimes takes that long before they get used to it.

Rolling/rub response, have you tested any that provide a dig response? Thanks for sharing
@MidGaPred8 ай бұрын
Most of these if buried deeper would illicit a digging response IMO. This is baked red clay and is all I can do to get a 6” pipe in the ground so baits and lures are either on top of the ground or right under. I seem to only get this rolling response in the summertime when weather is hot

So what’s the lure?

I like watching predators work lure. Thanks for sharing.
