People pronounce it both ways! It's a made up word that came from our Founders' son, Charlie. When Becca and Jake were deep in building Dubsado and searching for a name, Charlie who was 2 at the time, kept singing a song...dubs-aaaa-deeee, dubs-aaaa-doooo...over and over again. It stuck with them and they combined the syllables to create Dubsado!

Will payment reminders send if there is auto pay chosen/requried?

Great question! Whether or not the client receives a payment reminder is based entirely off of the payment plan applied to the client’s invoice. If the payment plan has any payment reminders set up, the client will still receive payment reminders - even if they are enrolled in autopay. For this reason, some users word their payment reminders so that they act as a catch-all. For example: “This is a reminder that you have an upcoming payment of xxx.xx due on xx/xx/xx. Please access the invoice below to make your payment. {{job | invoiceLink}} If you are enrolled in autopay, your card will be automatically charged on xx/xx/xx and no further action is required.”

When setting up a one time invoice it looks like the client can override the amount to pay now - can this be disabled? so their only option would be pay the one that that they owe...

Hi Jessica! Clients are able to change the "amount owed" so they can pay with more than 1 card if they'd like. There is not a way to disable this, but you can keep track of how much they did pay by checking your invoice list under that project. The invoice will also remain open for them to go back and pay the rest of what they owe if needed! If you have additional questions, send us an email [email protected] and we would be happy to help 😊

Is there an option to do this with projects already in Dubsado? I offer ongoing training for clients and if its going to create a new project every single time it's going to get frustrating, Is there another way around not sending registration through projects?

Hey if in my workflow - my form includes my invoice and contract, would you still add the contract in the left hand side under project name?

As long as the project doesn't have a contract already, the workflow will automatically apply the contract in that spot!

Hi, is it possible to send the proposal without knowing the contact details of a client (the address for the invoice) and have the client fill in those details themselves inside the proposal? In a way that it transfers over to the invoice automatically? Or do I need to have the details saved already before creating the proposal? Thank you!
