I don't have the Drumlogue in front of me so I won't be able to say exactly, but as far as I remember, I think you must use the COMPRESSOR on the master and use the SIDECH knob of a track to trigger the ducking.

L’Hapax remplacerait-il le Keystep Pro ?

@2MinuteWarning 11 күн бұрын

Love the setup, love the track, everything is so immediate and intimate. I've just finished off my desk where everything is within arms length and makes making tracks much more fun. PEAK and S6 make things more interesting but the Hapax, well I am holding off till the Reliq is released but I think the Hapax is more immediate. The Hapax can record MPE if I am correct. That's another thing that is unique but I have the Polyend Play to keep me company till Reliq shows its face. Thx for the upload, looks like it was fun to make.
@2MinuteWarning
@2MinuteWarning 26 күн бұрын
Thanks for your feedback mate 😃🙏 Glad to read about your new desk and setup 👍 The Hapax does record MPE even if I've never used it so far, but will have to do as the Waldorf M for example, now supports MPE too 😉 Are you willing to swap the Hapax for the Reliq because of the analog matrix-mixer? (That's really a cool feature I've been dreaming of 🤩)
@dankeplace
@dankeplace 26 күн бұрын
@@2MinuteWarning I don't have a Hapax just yet so I will wait as I like the size of the Hapax but the Reliq is a behemoth. I think they will be similar prices where I live so I just have to wait. The analog mixer aspect doesn't really intrigue me too much as I run 26 analogs in my interface set up atm. I just have to see what it can do, I hated my Akai Force as it was too menu diving, if the Reliq is similar then Hapax it is. EDIT: I will add extra info so it makes more sense, I have a Polyend SEQ which is a brilliant sequencer due to the 8 lane 32 steps, just that it does not do probability, then I have the Polyend Play which does, but it has some idiosyncrasies that are off putting. KSP is here too but have no room for it, this is why I want an all in one solution to free up some space then possibly sell off some gear. PE SEQ cost me a fortune btw.

Also all done with midi and not the cv gates/ triggers etc...that makes things easier. Am I right so far? Sold my Nymphes ( what a prat) but I do have a Behringer Pro vs mini which is polyphonic and gives out a good sound for its price. I fail to see the use of the four tracks? If you have time, please enlighten me as I feel a bit sore about it. Perhaps I am intending to use it the wrong way? Thanks again for you excellent video.
@2MinuteWarning
@2MinuteWarning Ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for your comment, glad you enjoyed my video 😀 Yes you can control 4 synths simulteanously (that's what I'm doing here and in my other videos 😉). You just have to assign a different MIDI channel to each of your synths. For example: - Synth1 set to receive on MIDI channel 1 and KSP's track 1 set to send on MIDI channel 1 - Synth2 set to reveive on MIDI channel 2 and KSP's track 2 set to send on MIDI channel 2 -Synth3 set to... Etc. With this setup you'll be able to send different patterns to the 4 synths at the same time (if that's what you were planning to do? 😉)

Always a pleasure trying to help someone! And hats off for doing this at 74, I'm quite impressed! You need to record a pattern on each track of the KSP first (either by recording in real time by pressing record then play, either in step mode by pressing record and then playing some notes on the keyboard). Once you've recorded a pattern on each track (for example pattern playing the Bass, Chords, Lead etc.). You just hit play on the KSP abd all tracks which does not have an empty pattern, will play the associated instrument. Hope it helps? 😉
@petercane6376
@petercane6376 Ай бұрын
@@2MinuteWarning Aha! I think I get it now. So there has to be a "sequence" loaded on each track which will play the associated synth connected to that track! I was trying to play the kspro with four synths plugged in, one to each track with seperate midi channels but without a sequence loaded. Arturia need to make this abundantly clear me thinks. I am very grateful to you for helping me out. I think other newbies are under the same impression as me judging by the questions asked in google. Maybe worth a video in itself to make this clear. Might just be " old" me though. Thank you tons!!!

Yes that's it 😀👍 The KSP is a controller and sequencer. You can use it to play and control in real time your synths or to record then play "sequences" (=patterns) on your instruments 😉 For instance in this "from scratch" video, you can see me record a pattern in step mode on Track 3 first, then hit play for it to play for it to play. I then select Track 2 and record a pattern in real time, etc. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ebGZbNp3tqiaqok.htmlsi=BWmn_kkIp8gzR3rU
