This was very interesting to listen to!! Coming from that same mennonite church but having left before yall i heard so many rumors from the mennonites about your situation. Its so sad how they actually treated you and at the same time i feel such a burden for ppl who put God in a box. Healing is definitely for today! We are told we're going to do greater things then Jesus himself🤷‍♀️💥 thanks for sharing your testimony! So refreshing when i hear of others getting a revelation and being enlightened!

How adorable! This was a great video. You guys have a lovely kitchen and I am so glad that it is so clear of clutter. That's refreshing. Your garden is very nice. Good job Deklan with helping your mama out! I stock up food every 4-7 days, but I have a family of 5 in a small home with no storage really. I have heard good things about silver and such for health. I love when little ones are snuggly when they wake up. I still hug my teens when they wake because they are so cute. Wow that is a lot of onions! Great harvest. It is good you have the convenience of laundry machines! I do mine all by hand, but one day I hope to get machines (though after 20 years of marriage that hasn't happened, so oh well). I really need to learn how to make sourdough. I've been wanting to for a year and a half now but make breads like brioche and more without it. I am trying to understand the discard and how to add more yeast and such to feed it. I am not understanding it and how much you would use to make breads too. Maybe I'll figure it out by trying. Sorry to hear about the hacking. I have noticed that when cards are nearly expired, people tend to get the numbers and I don't understand how it happens. Pretty sad. Thanks for the video.

I have a question and mean no disrespeat what so ever. But this word Mennonite literally means Baptist. This word Baptise is strickly or was strictly a reference to Aboriginie Rituals of BLACK PEOPLE. Am I correct by saying Mennoties are descendants of the Pagan-Christians "Aboriginie Christians" of Rußia known as Russian Kanakah? Who by the way were the real military that won WW2. Someone mentioned they are the Ethiopians which is possible but I think they are the indigenous Papuan/New Zealanders which they did become the Ethiopians. Nonetheless that means the Black Baptist church and the Mennonites would be ethnically the same but one will go to war and the other rebukes the sword.🥸 One emigrated as Slaves and the other as Serfs but they are the same exact Orang Habsjinian. The illness would be due to not mixing "Indo" which is also a main part of Habsji people and it was medically proven. You don't want to breed out to the point you are no longer Indië(n) or Oriental(en). It's a major part of the rituals "Religion/Laws".👍 Mennonite(s), Baptist(s), and Doopsgezind(en) are all the same words in different Indo-languages. Warm regards

Thank you for sharing how difficult it was to separate from your Amish & Mennonite culture (religion). I feel for you both! It is very easy for us all to live by the doctrine’s & commandments of men thinking we’re living for God when in actual fact we’re not pleasing or living for God but living for men’s ways, their practices & their commandments. Were to prove everything by God’s Word and be strong in the power of His might to stand against those ways that are not His ways. So often people follow traditions of men. Jesus hated that even in His day! You are brave people to come out from underneath doing religious life the way you were being told it should be lived. We are free to question, we are free to ask for God’s ways. In the end as you say we must all stand before God and give an account to Him. I’m all for living for Jesus and following Him & being faithful to Him. I haven’t always done that but I know I’m getting better through His help to live through Him & to walk worthy of Him. This can only be achieved as we get into His Word and see for ourselves how we’re meant to walk in this life bringing honour to Him. Grace & Truth came through Jesus. We keep our eyes fixed upon Him because He is the author & finisher of our faith. He never leaves us or fails us. I think you’ve got the right focus now …..it’s following Jesus. I’ll be praying for the Amish & Mennonite communities as they have so many blessings which I admire but if those blessings in this life leave out the grace of God & seek to please God through keeping law or men’s commandments then one will soon realise we can’t live that way, but that we’re justified as a free gift by faith in Jesus to all those who believe (Rom 3:22, Gal 2:16) and this gift of righteousness is received apart from the Law (Rom 3:21). Sin will not be master over us BECAUSE we’re not under the Law but under Grace (Rom 6:14). We’re freed from the Law & its curses from not keeping them because we died to it in Jesus & we serve in newness of the Spirit now and not in oldness of the letter (Rom 7:6). We’re encouraged to live according to the Spirit & not according to the flesh & put to death the deeds of the body & we will live! (Rom 8:13,14). A challenge indeed but it can be done through His Holy Spirit that lives in us. He helps our weaknesses (Rom 8:26). Praying your lives are enriched with many Godly friends, & that God surrounds you with His comfort, care & strength as you navigate this next part of your walk with God. Keep your eyes on Jesus & in His Word.

According to scripture..Is long hair on a man a covering? Either yes or no.. if no… then can I as a Christian man where long hair and as long as I don’t wear a material covering over my long hair , I’m all good? If not then the reason it is a shame for a Christian man to wear long hair on his head is because according to scripture the long hair on a Christian man is the covering…. So now we ask the question again… is long hair on a Christian man a covering? Yes!! And this is why a Christian woman Wears long hair because this in scripture is the covering!! And not a material subject…. For if women be not covered (short hair) then let her be shorn(cut short hair off) if it be a shame for her to be bald … then let her be covered (long hair) 😊 If someone wants to wear a material covering out of ritual or tradition.. that’s great… however when covering comes to scripture then women resembles a woman and a man resembles a man 👏🏽

The practice of a headcovering is mentioned clearly in the Bible and is not just a cultural practice. In history, Christiany in general accepted the headcovering as biblical practice, but when the feminism movement came in, it was just a matter of time till the headcovering was no longer a common practice. I absolutely agree that salvation does not lie in the headcovering, but rather it's a practice of obedience.

@@redeemeddaugther the practice of head covering is mentioned clearly?? In scripture Paul found women who said they became born again and yet had no conviction(in long hair as the submission aspect) and still wore short hair…. Did Paul then tell them to quickly put on a material covering? Or did Paul tell them to go all the way and cut their short hair off? Verse 6 … for if a woman be not covered- lack of material covering or short hair?? It’s short hair..-let her be shaven 🪒 because Paul wanted them to then cut their short hair off… and go bald…. This is proof this is not material subject…. Oh but if it be a shame for her to be BALD- which it is and definitely not natural… then let her be covered-LONG HAIR!

It is interesting that there is little talk about actual physical healing being taught in your upbringing. I was healed from my 80% deafness as a child by Jesus in a dream I had, but I was always being prayed for by people (laying hands on me and such but I had no idea what was going on back then since I couldn't hear well at all). It has always been something I have believed in, and in my Mennonite church, we have a lot of people who came out of non-denominational churches and evangelical churches, while others were raised in the Mennonite church we attend. . .and we pray over people for healing on their illnesses and such. I can understand why you would want to leave something that perhaps had too much control. I grew up in a Pentecostal church that was filled with legalism and control, and we left that church when I was 11 to go to a non-denominational church. It was definitely more freeing to do that. However, it was very much a military-based church as in the pastor and many members were in military and the pledge to the flag was common. . .and growing up, I never felt that was godly. It definitely left me digging the scriptures. I started to find out how amazing Anabaptism was with the non-resistance/non-violence ways and on and on...so my husband and I found our Mennonite church nearly 11 years ago now. I love it. I am sorry to hear about your illnesses and that the Amish and Mennonite church you both attended believed your illness was sinful (can they just read the passage about the blind man being healed and Jesus saying it had nothing to do with him being sinful or his parents). That is truly sad. I am sorry. I can understand why you would leave as you did. I am really glad that Marlene's parents were supportive and didn't seem to shun you for this.

Loved your testimony about how God has healed you. It’s true that God heals today! I believe it and have many a testimony of Him doing such in my life& in my children’s lives too. I’m nearly 68 years of age and been born again since age 20 so I have many true stories of God’s miraculous healings that only He could’ve performed. So sad to hear that you’ve been forced to take a stand on such a matter within your culture making it impossible to stay. I admire the Amish & Mennonite cultures for many reasons but I don’t like their legalism and you’ve shown me a part of what I already knew about that culture and it is sad. Praise God you’re both born again, you’ve received Jesus as your saviour so the culture (ie the religion) got that part right. Wishing you many more wonderful days of finding out what God has for you as you search the scriptures for yourself and take a stand on what He shows you to be the way to understand them. Praying His wisdom & grace fills your lives. Thanks for sharing. Jesus is Lord and He’s coming again and very soon I’m sure!

Mine as Well! In 2017 I began to have some Big Health Issues! Me and My Family were attending a non denominational Church. None of the Church Pastors or Elders would anoint me! The Lord had already began to Reveal to My Husband that The KJV BIBLE was The True Word! My Husband anointed me! My Husband had grown up Catholic. Yet had accepted Jesus as his Saviour and was Baptized in 2010. I grew up Seventh Day Adventist, until I was 10. At 16 accepted Jesus as My Saviour and was Baptized at 16. Yet, I didn’t Begin to have Healing Mentally,Spiritually and Physically, until I Repented of some ways I was being Disobedient to The Lord as a Wife and a Mother! I started to come more of Understanding of What The Lord calls Me to,as I read The True Word more! The Lord had Revealed many Important Things to My Husband that would needed to turn of. As I began to also be more Submissive to My Husband, do as the calls me to as a Christian Woman and Mother. I received more healing Mentally,Spiritually and Physically. The Lord also started to show us we were to have Church in Our Home! There are many past friends and family members that are not in agreement with Us! The Lord didn’t intend for there to be Denominations! Church is where two or more are gathered!

Paul addressed that it isn't our outward appearance that the Lord looks at but in the inward. Salvation is not from works, but by grace through faith, given to us by God. I have read a comment speaking about "losing your salvation." This is not biblical at all. God will not save you and then unsave you. Once you are saved, you are always saved. Personally, I believe one can wear a head covering and it be honoring to God, but I also believe one can wear a head covering and it be dishonoing to God. The real question is, "Why do you wear a head covering?" Is it to please God or to please man? Is it because you think you have to earn your salvation or out of an act of obedience. Read the letters written by Paul.

James 2 puts it plainly. "Faith without works is dead.", if we were "once saved" but are not seeking after Gods heart, reading His Word, daily coming to Him for forgiveness, ("His mercies are new each day") and doing His works("Do you love Me peter?", "Then feed me sheep.") Then no we are not saved. ("If you refuse to pick up your cross and follow Me you are not worthy or being Mine") We don't lose salvation, we put it down at our feet to trample on while we hang out with the world.("but I have this against you you do not love Me as you did at first") But! Still, God loves our disrespectful butts so much (John 3:16) that if we'll pick it back up, He still wraps the garment of salvation back around us, if only we'll choose to "Repent! For the Kingdom of God is at Hand!"
