I typically just search “horn stab” in splice for the chord stabs. You’ll find tons of brass & funky horn-like stabs

Really appreciate the work you put in to this. I’ve been really interested in this style for a while. My only critique is that I found the sound of your keyboard and mouse while touring the sounds a bit disruptive, but you played most things out enough I was still able to take in the sound for what it was. Thanks so much for the video. Keep it up!

Thanks bro, I love your music I’ve been watching you evolve for over a year now 😊 one time I saw I did my first line of ever line of k right before an integrate set and it changed my life. Thanks for the break down.

So strange for some reason if i Open serum and start designing the harmonic series bass the exact same way you start it at the @8:05 mark it sounds completely different

thanks for the vid. love the idea of using a perc loop rhythm to inspire a bassline. Def doing that. i really dont get why some still use the ghost note trigger method for sidechaining tho. just extra work when theres vst's for it. Kickstart 2 is really good and its cheap! Duck Buddy by Slynk is also really good and flexible but only really for midi.
@originallegnaАй бұрын
I’ve come to find that using the stock plugins creates a better side chain for my music then 3rd party vst, but that’s just my opinion. Doesn’t knock other vsts
@yobi.variantАй бұрын
@@originallegna yeah some can be good. I find ableton compressors generally have a tick noise when sidechaining so I avoid. The two I mentioned are very transparent. Slynk does a great vid comparing common sc devices
@originallegnaАй бұрын
@@yobi.variant yeah it does have a tick. I agree

I stumbled across one of your tutorials before and loved the general like genre styling, breakdown of bpm, etc. It helps give some guard rails while learning to create.
