I am beyond grateful that this series with Coach Mike Lingenfelter is available on here! His direction & philosophies are absolute GOLD, not just for VB but all team sports and honestly, life in general. Thank you coach for sharing your wisdom & energy with the world! Anyone coaching who has a passion for what they do should listen to these episodes, more than once!

Why at 32:40 does he make the player move while hitting the ball? Shouldn't the pass be in stillness?

This coaching style is much easier for a dude. Not as forgiving for a female coach, which may sound lame, but it is the reality. Parents and players are much more critical of tough love from female coaches and language that borders inappropriate- just my opinion (ie, “Tails, asses and butts” not entirely well appreciated by players/parents). I don’t disagree with the strategy, its just a trickier execution.
