Training manager here, for Accenture (LinkedIn platform experience mgmt team). Accenture failed my onboarding and then never rectified the issues this caused and then terminated our team. They never sent me an invite or info about onboarding or even info about my first day. I never got any onboarding and I was not the only one. Accenture had me work without my i9 and then threatened me with probation/suspended pay/termination when they realized their mistake. I reached out to the very Global Head of Onboarding shown here in this video for help and they directed me to another person who did nothing and then the Global Head of Onboarding blocked me on LinkedIn. So, when the Global Head of Onboarding is talking about "personal stories" please be aware that many of us are not heard, not seen, and ignored and our personal stories are not the ones they care about.

Today would have been Jim Valvano's 77th birthday. He was only 47 years old when he died in 1993, just a few years older than I am today.

I have to make a comment too about the mom trashing her bedroom. This was very immature on the mom's part. Now this makes her regret not being better when her daughter was alive... We do tend to take our loved ones fro granted and than when they pass on, we regret ......

Mothers aren’t perfect. They make mistakes. It’s not like she expected to lose her daughter so instantly like that and probably figured (as everyone else) that she had more time with her. Alyssa was very loved from what I’ve seen, family fights happen. I’ve fought with my mom countless times, but without her my heart would shatter. I’m sure she feels immense guilt that will never be repaired.

@@Renae5147 she should feel guilty. It’s one thing to snap but to destroy her room? That’s not cool. I had issues with my mom growing up and sure, she wasn’t perfect. But she didn’t disrespect me like that. We argued but she still had my back. To take something like someone’s personal space, that you are expected to provide to them and then ruin it? She was wrong for that and deserves every ounce of guilt I doubt she actually even feels. If anyone ever disrespected my personal space like that they would have their jaw wired shut for months.
