I’m a Buddhist and just the mention of right and wrong is not reflective of our cultural and moral beliefs. There is no right and wrong, there only is or is not, or skilled/unskilled. Whatever the object means to the person carrying it, is what is meant to be. You have good looking jewelry, but without the meaning behind it, it’s just an in adamant object. Mala’s shouldn’t be priced like jewelry, that is very counter intuitive to the meaning behind them as the only value is vanity and monetary. My Mala was passed down from my mother, who hiked to the top of a mountain in Vietnam and was gifted the blessed beads from a Monk that has been wearing them for 15 years. It represents significant meaning to me, not because I paid a lot, but because of the actual blessing and journey to self love and reflection.

I used to watch these vids five years ago with my (now ex) girlfriend. Needless to say, after our break up, I have distanced myself from these practices and lived these 5 years with a lot of hurt. Now I feel I have healed and wish to return to these beneficial practices. I will be using my mala that I made myself with the rudraksha seeds five years ago. However, my cynicism shadows me and I feel like I am fooling myself now. I am not a hindu, and I am very cynical of all religion, but I find that there is some degree of truth and benefit in every belief system. I respect and love this practice, and am looking forward to returning to it. Much love

This helped me a lot. I carry a mala bracelet, and use it whenever I'm feeling disconnected and drained. I take good care of it and protect it. I made this mala, so I consider it a part of me. I hadn't meditated on my mala recently, and I knew I wasn't supposed to use my index finger, but I forgot how to use the middle finger instead, and never knew the lore behind not using the index finger. That was most helpful! My mala is white howlite, with silver disks every nine beads. The guru bead is also howlite, as is the bead leading to the tassel, which is a matching white with gray inclusions. It has been with me for several years, and it saw me safely through the pandemic. I would have been lost without it as a symbol of my place between Earth and Sky. Thank you again.

Raksha beads, that some initiates use, symbolise base tendencies/evil/sins that need to be burned away. You can read this in the Vedas. Rudra is the fierce burning away of them, just as the rubedo in alchemy.

Hi! I've a 27 bead mala and I've to do 4 rotations in order to complete 108. Do I need to turn the mala in the opposite direction, every time I complete 27? Please guide me.
@adorability73 ай бұрын
dang i saw a video on youtube explaining just what you are asking there is a correct direction and then you have to do a loop around at the end to stay in the correct direction i think im not sure you just dont wanna go in the opposite direction once you learn the correct direction to move the beads i cant remmeber there is even a special way to flip it around your thumb some were teaching

Hi dear, so sorry I just saw this message. Yes, no matter how many beads on a mala, you start meditating from the point of the guru bead Which is where both strands are tied together and then you meditate beat by bead from one end to the other until you get to that end and then you go back to the direction you came from. I made a video on how to use a meditation mala for meditation. Please check it out.

I was taught that grounding was a positive practice when meditating. Also, gravity is just a theory based off another theory. ☺️😘. Just saying. Globe earth is one of the biggest lies ever pushed on the masses. ANYWAY, after watching this video, I really do question the “feet off the ground”. What you claim kinda makes sense. Ok well thanks for the info.
@swathimaa-shivaloka30272 ай бұрын
I feel also very strongly that one should not just receive anything. People say as the truth, and have a personal experience to verify the claims. And you can do that very easily with meditation.Especially when you meditate with mantras, you’ll feel a distinct difference, if you sit on a cushion or a couch or a bed, where the energy can build in you, vs if you sat on the flat ground, a lot of people find that very enjoyable, precisely because the negative energy they’re holding will move out through the process. But that’s the whole point with Meditation, most people don’t realise that there are two processes: one is for charging and making your soul energy, stronger, building the energy and you. And the other processes for releasing the energy in you. We can direct the energy on part of the intention and one part of the process. in this case, we are looking to build a relationship with another object with a sacred power object so that that channel is open to us and flow freely. Means that the divine energy the object holds we can access easily. Therefore we want to support that process by building boundaries so that the energy only flows between us and the object and not us and the ground.

What about a Rudraksha and Tulsi necklace.
@SHIVALOKATV9 ай бұрын
You can use a rudraksha and tulsi mala, yet from my personal experience, the combination of rudraksha and tulsi for a meditation mala is not the most conducive energy. The energy needs to matched correctly for the best flow and support, and so I would advise to have either a meditation mala with only rudraksha or only tulsi. I think you will find more ease to your meditation then.
@BrnWil3339 ай бұрын
Thank you, I see what you mean, but the rudraksha and tulsi necklace was already made and I was guided towards a shop to collect it...The energy of the necklace is very powerful and has protected me a few times. I think it depends on how the person is vibrating with the necklace. @@SHIVALOKATV

the elements per finger are completely wrong: thumb = fire, index = wind, middle = space/ether not "sky" lol, ringfinger = earth. little finger = water. this woman is more of a jewelry collecter then a yogi, what the hell is this channel ?
@SHIVALOKATV Жыл бұрын
We get this reaction all the time as there is a lot of misleading and contradictory information based on personal interpretation but not on deep understanding and connection to the Five Elements. What we teach is based on the understanding of Nature through the secret Shiva / Shakti Channels as practiced by the top Supreme Masters. Shiva is the only character who has command over the Five Elements, Na Ma Shi Va Ya ....each bijou is connected to the five elements and the five fingers. Na - earth - thumb, Ma - fire - index finger, Shi - Sky - middle finger, Va- water - ring finger and Ya - air - little finger. We will make a video at some point to explain this further.

Namaste We can write the mantra of our chosen deity 108 times daily in a diary. When writing we must do it meditatively. We must be completely absorbed in writing the name and remembering the deity without any worldly thoughts or distractions. Once the diary is completed we can keep it in any temple , offering it mentally to our chosen deity. This simple act then becomes Likhith Naam Japa Thanks

Hello, recently I have acquire a Lotus seed mala... But it is way too big for 108 beads in use everyday and it is a practice that we do not want to touch our malas to the floor. It is kinda awkward for me to go anywhere using it that it is too long... Can i just make 54 bead instead?
@SHIVALOKATV Жыл бұрын
A lotus mala is a great meditation tool, and I do not recommend wearing it so much outside as people may feel inspired to touch such lustrous big beads and the energy then transfers to them. Of course, you could always wear the mala underneath your shirt. You can double the mala to wear it, but you should not et the mala touch the ground. For meditation, 108 beads is always optimal, so in your case, do your meditation and then leave your mala on your altar, I wouldn't try to shorten the mala.

Shakti is black, it is black because she is eternity, space itself, not white, she is the absolute, it is all those things you said, BUT it is everywhere so you can go outside and touch nature to connect to her. It is not in "a certain place or things" everywhere in nature is sacred. Shakti is our GREAT MOTHER until you surrender to her you will never know the true essence of our reality because she is our reality! Patriarchal religions will always lead you away from her. Surrender to her AS SHE IS to know the true power of love.

Thanks for a very nice presentation on Malas. I do have a question though. I want to make my own mala and use it for jaap and meditation. Not only that, I want to use my own beads to make that mala either from Tulsi (Holy Basil) or Rakta or Laal Chandan (Red sandlewood). Since I am in US, I haven't been able to find the suitable wood, either one, to make those beads. I checked with local temples and ISKCON. So success. Would you by any chance have any information about how or where to get it?
