Hey nice video! What scenarios would be important for a game like PUBG (for the most?) its a bit slower than Overwatch
@bjorkie644
@bjorkie644 28 күн бұрын
Honestly, training all 3 of the main aiming types will help. They are all very fundamental to aiming in general. If you want to have solid aim you want to train all. If the time to kill is high, then tracking is important. If you see a lot of players consistently at once, switching is important. If time to kill is low then clicking is important. That’s like a general guideline. I honestly haven’t played pubg in years so I don’t remember how fast the time to kill is. But one things for sure is since you’re not in the action as much in a battle royal, aim training will help you iron out your weaknesses faster.
@gwnbw
@gwnbw 28 күн бұрын
@@bjorkie644 Thanks for the detailed answer, yeah some people claim that your aim cannot be trained with this game since it has huge recoil, its high kill time, once your crosshair is on the target basically you aim down to compensate for the recoil and get a kill. So its sort of like clicking but once clicked, aiming down. Only sometimes do you get driven by so I can keep tracking there as well. I also like to play kovaak so its a win win, already seeing some improvements!
@bjorkie644
@bjorkie644 28 күн бұрын
@@gwnbw that’s awesome! In that case you’re going to see a lot of value in practice your recoil patterns. I’m not sure if it’s predictable recoil like CSGO or RNG, but you can at least get a feel for your favorite guns and practice the recoil. But you still need to be aiming in the right spot anyways so aim training definitely helps. Aim training can never substitute game sense and game mechanics though. So if you lack any game specific mechanics, those definitely have to be trained and targeted in game

Just keeping pushing my man. Using Kovaaks for a person who's new to KnM is actually so good. If you consistently train every day, you will improve so much quicker than someone just grinding the game. Just train all of your aim types. It's probably going to feel impossible at first, but your brain will adapt if you train every day.

@@BlazingJacob yeah man of course! Don’t forget to play your main game. If you notice that a certain part of your aim is weaker than others, make sure you spend extra time training those weaknesses. Like for xdefiant, switching and reactive tracking are the main skill sets to train. But you still need to train up all of the skills because they are all fundamental to your mouse control.

Wait so when it comes to benchmarking, do I only do each routine once?
@bjorkie644
@bjorkie644 Ай бұрын
I would recommend warming up a bit or just trying each scenario a couple times. If you’re just starting out, these first scores won’t really matter. If you practice enough, you’re going to blow these initial scores out of the water. So don’t over complicate it. I would say, warm up so you’re not completely cold, then go through the benchmarks twice each as a good starting point. Remember, you will most likely improve these scores very quickly especially if you’ve never done aim training. It’s more of just to see where you’re at currently and give you a structure to follow. Also this improves the whole aiming experience and makes it so that you can see your progression in a more gamified way.

Is that normal if i have two scenarios close to master in tracking but the rest is not even plat
@bjorkie644
@bjorkie644 2 ай бұрын
It does happen. It means you probably have some strengths in some areas and weaknesses in others. It’s completely up to you, but you could spend a disproportionate amount of time on the other scenarios. You can still train your master scenarios, but focus harder on the ones that are more difficult for you. So for example if you spend 20 minutes on each scenario (hypothetical number), then when you get to your master scenarios, maybe spend like 5 minutes to keep them solid, but spend more time on the others. That all depends if your goal is to be more well rounded. But if you want to just be a beast tracker then you can train them too. Depends on your goals!

Hey man. I'll be honest, I no longer find value in playing games competitively. I find more value in playing games for fun every once in awhile with my friends. But to play by myself, I find it (personally in my opinion) to be a waste of time, only because I have different goals that I'm striving for. I haven't played Valorant competitively in like over 6 months. I left off in high Diamond I can't remember exactly what rank. I did enjoy making videos, and I do like making content. Gaming content just doesn't align with my real goals in life. Gaming content requires me to grind games, I don't like paying games like that anymore. So it's just a vicious cycle of me doing something I don't like. We are all different! But I also encourage everyone to turn off all the noise around them, and ask yourself deeper questions every once in awhile. Sometimes you'll realize that you truly don't like the direction you're going. Better to realize it now, than to waste years of your life. Do what you love, set out ambitious goals, and shoot for the moon!

@bjorkie644 Жыл бұрын
Diamond complete is referring to the Voltaic aim training benchmarks. It's done on Kovaaks or Aimlabs they have different benchmarks but it's more or less the same. It trains your ability to track targets, switch targets, and click static targets. These benchmarks have ranks to them. They basically gamified aim training but there's a big community of people grinding those benchmarks and there are different ranks. Starting from Iron, Bronze, Silver all the way to Astra, Celestial which are the highest ranks you can achieve. I have a video on how to get started if you're interested in aim training. It can help you improve your mouse control but aim training to me isn't a substitute for actually playing your main game if you have one. It's more like something that can enhance your training.

I believe this takes the average out of your last 5 or 10 scores. So it shows you what your scores you get on average on a specific scenario. Congrats on the achievement man! Reaching diamond complete is also my goal, then maybe GM(if necessary). But would you say that anything above Diamond complete is overkill if you're just going to main a game instead of maining Kovaaks? I heard that Diamond is basically the top 5% of the aimers in the world, and it should be enough to not hold you back and focus more on gameplay.
@bjorkie644
@bjorkie644 Жыл бұрын
Yeah I believe that if you want to be good at Kovaaks then you should continue grinding. But the point for me was never to get good at Kovaaks, but rather to translate those skills to a game of my choice. So once I finally picked up Valorant, I decided to focus on just that game. I still do Kovaaks like maybe 5 times a week but it's only Valorant specific scenarios. Each game is going to have different mechanics that need to be practiced as well. Being great at Kovaaks won't help your movement in Apex legends or Valorant for example. So I would say if you have that goal of diamond complete, go for it! It will give you solid fundamentals that you can work off of. But if you have a main game that you want to get good at, then make sure you're doing specific routines for that game as well. At the end of the day you have to ask, do you want to be good at Kovaaks? Or do you want to be good at your main game? So it depends on your goals.
