Finished it today. Amazing fucking game. The fun factor is off the charts. The most common complaint that I hear ia about how long it takes to fight a horde... well, now they got the CHALLENGES option in the menu, that allows you to dive right into the fun. Even so, I find the world building and story very compelling. In fact, it has the most interesting zombie lore I have ever seen. As a fan of the genre (TLOU, TWD, RE, etc) that is saying something.

The fact that this game is looked at as some kind of flop is ridiculous It sold the same amount as Ghost Of Tsushima is looked at as a absolute success Which it is, Ghost is fuckin awsome But Days Gone is fuckin great aswell

Did you ever think that they wanted hordes to be scary and not something you'd want to try tk tackle within the first ten hours? Did you ever think that maybe they expected players to think their way through low-level hordes because the designers didn't want you to just bully your way through hordes with brute force? Don't whine about tackling level inappropriate enemies. Figure out how to do it cleverly. This game is awesome. It ONLY got low ratings because of critics who barely played the game. Grow an attention span and learn to appreciate good things that take time to earn.

There's some bugs where if an entity dies slumping on a bike, in a tower of some sort, or just in an awkward position. They just stay in that position, giving me funny ragdoll poses to laugh at.

Honestly I thought remake was really bad. Intermission was so much better in every way.

After getting a Platinum on this game. I can confirm that... most of the bugs have been patched, and I loved every minute of it! 9.5 out of 10. Great review, by the way 👏

My only peeve with this game is the walking sections (except the 1 were u see ganja plants hehe) with sarah and deacon + sarah and deacon acting like there having an affair rather than say there married and ye nero sneak missions can be tedious except when there talking about the virus as thats interesting imo. Ps alot of ppl will quit in 1st hours as deeks weak and guns suck in early hours, A tip 4 anyone thats here in the game stick with it. Dude melee gets longer combos (talk shit get hit) when 1 melee attack lands press r2 again or bullrush skill you ram zombie to floor then you hit downwards and kill them in 1 hit. If you run back to camp you can recover it for a fee or within 50M of your bike fast travel to camp = bike back and no fee

The game was great. Story, gameplay, RPG elements... The only glitch is that the camera is not fixed. Returning to default by itself made it very difficult to control.

While I do agree that the level design in the dlc is way better than the levels in Nioh or Nioh 2 main game I think the biggest issue is you keep comparing it to other soulslike games. I feel this isn't that. Yes it has things you can point at and say soulslike but most of those things have existed before. Bonfires are just checkpoints. Sonic has those... well had those. I consider this game a successor to the Ninja Gaiden games. The combat, enemy designs, weapons and difficulty all point to that along with collecting spirit orbs from them to level up. It's kind of like how people did the same criticism of Sekiro when it wasn't trying to be a souls game either but was a successor to another ninja based game, Tenchu. So if you look at the level design in Ninja Gaiden you'll see it being as a waaaay better version of that as opposed to a bad version of Dark Souls.

Days Gone...this game.....I manage to beat Days Gone four months ago, and..this game....this game is.....um.....well.... Ok, I'm just gonna drop the ball and let it out right now, I did not enjoy playing though Days Gone, and as a matter of fact, it's not only one of my least favorite games of 2023, but it's also among one of my least favorite games of all time next to Astral Chain, Lost Planet 2, DarkSiders 3, Kirby Star Allies and The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, and there are MANY reasons as to why: 1) Bullshit Difficulty: I for one like a challenge, but Days Gone's challenges goes WAY too far it's not even funny, the amount of health that I lost was just ridicules, with the biggest one being the final stages, seriously, it took me, no joke, four hours to complete......FOUR. HOURS. And I could be the Pit of 100 Trails on Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door faster than this. 2) Enemy Design: The Enemy A. Is in this game are massive pain in the asses, they gang up on me while blasting the crap out of me many times though out the game, and I was pure Red in the Face, and the god dame wolfs in which they can attack you both off-screen and while riding on the bike just adds pure rage in the fire. 3) Lack Cluster Bosses: While I like the idea of the bosses, they are not only lackcluster, but they are also a pain, the battles agents the Bear Bosses were especially pains in the asses and cause me game overs more then once. 4) Crappy Quick Time Events: I may have never played Resident Evil 4, but Days Gone has easily the worst amount of Quick-Time events I've ever played in the video games, the amount of times that I got caught off-guard by a quick event only to be killed by pressing the wrong button was inferring, special shout-out goes to both the god dame Rage Bear were when I fought him I was doing great at first, but then that fucker did that pounce move like two times, and the second time the button masher was different and it led to me missing and getting maul by the Rager Bear, and the Zombie Bitch during the rescue sequence near the end of the game were it also maul me when I press the wrong button, both of which really frustrated me. 5) Long Length: The bullshit difficulty is bad enough, but Days Gone drags on in its length, from what I look up, it IS possible to beat in it 13 hours, but from when I played it, it took me 20 hours to beat this crap, and guys...I wanted to finish this game. 6) Motocycle Chase Sequence: the four times were your force to gun down a biker on a motocycle were also aggravating, the first two were manageable, the second halve were they are too fast that you have to upgrade your bike to even catch up to them assholes is were I draw the line, I had to look up guides to find other ways to catch them as I for one had no idea on how to even upgrade the motorcycles. 7) The...Fracking....Swarm Battles: The moments in which you have to fight an army of Swarms were NIGHTMARES to complete, seriously, the Chemult Horde took me TWELF HOURS to complete, and that's the FIRST one of the three, and I litter lost my sanity because of that segment. 8) Progressing: I had no idea on which mission in Days Gone was a Story Progressing Mission or an Optional Mission, I had to look up a guide to to find out that the Yellow Missions are Story Progression Missions. 9) Very....Convoluted Story: In my own opinion, the story for Days Gone was......ruth to say the least, thats not saying that the story is Ride to Hell: Retribution levels of awful, while I will say that it does have its moments here and there, there was a lot of moments in which I was SUPER red in the face and just wanting to punch something. And before anyone ask, no, I am NOT "bad at games" like that asshole in4mus85 from 2 months ago said in my one comment of that KZfaq Video "Days Gone - Zombie Rager Bear Boss Fight (Days Gone 2019) PS4 Pro", there's a HUGE different between "Challenge" and "Tedious", THIS is tedious. The amount of rage, frustrating and pain that I experience in Days Gone was very incomprehensible. I'm sorry guys, I really didn't mean to sound this harsh, I'm just stating on my opinion, because if you all love Days Gone and considered it a fantastic game, that's perfectly fine and truth be told, I WANT to like Days Gone, I REALLY did, but this game has SO much that really gets under my skin that I just could not take, and after beating Days Gone today, I don't find myself replaying this game again and honestly, I think I just stick the both Halo and the Metroid Prime Trilogy to get my taste for Third Person Shooters.

Minor technical correction here. The game on PS5 doesn't feature ray tracing per se. It uses RT to calculate the shadows and ambient occlusion, but uses a regular non RT solution to display them so it's not too taxing. The game runs at 1080p internally, and uses image reconstruction to get to 4k, which is why foliage specially looks a bit blurry and has some ghosting

I liked the lightning gods of yomi, actually. I didn’t feel like he had any cheap or bad moves, and he was the only boss that encouraged me to use resistance talismans. Even without talismans, i’d hardly call him bullshit. He’s about as difficult as shibata or otakemaru, so still quite hard, but perfectly doable with enough attempts.

Ghost of Tsushima has horrible level design, it's just one of the most beautiful fucking games that exists in 2023 still (if you play it on the ps5). The open world of ghost of tsushima though is literally trash, like, holy shit it makes me not want a sequel to it despite liking the combat. (characters weren't special either) Ghost of Tsushima definitely is prettier and has better art design for the world (I really like the yokai though and the yokai realm in nioh 2 is very cool artistically), but yeah, nioh 1/2 have better level design itself. Onryoki, Hino Enma, Nue, Umi-bozu, Yuki-Onna, Giant Toad, Ogress, Yamat-No-Orochi, and Hundred Eyes were good in the first game. Dark Souls 2 has only bad bosses, 1 has some bad bosses, and 3 a few bad ones. Bloodborne had more forgettable bosses than good ones. If we include the dlc for 1: Date Shigezane is goated, Maria is solid (worse than bloodborne maria but that's bloodborne's best so oh well), Sanada Yukimura, and Nine-Tailed Fox were cool, and the Toyotomi HIdeyori scenario was interesting. And that's just the first game. The first game had decentish level design, the second game's levels in the base game are the most painfully boring though.

I love this game, I discovered it only a few months back but I fell in love with it, obviously the developers were not been idle and polished this game to make it much more enjoyable, I've played it on PC and wow, what a journey, it was so enjoyable that I took the time to do every side quest, every question mark, when I got ambushed for the first time with the rope across the road? I've never seen this in any other game I've played so far, yes it may have been buggy at the lunch (btw, 21:36 was hilarious) but which game isn't? Take Cyberpunk or Watchdogs Legion for example, massive games with a lot of hype and? They disappoint because the developers are set with such ridiculous time targets that it's impossible to deliver a perfect game without even a bug not to mention that the games are getting more and more complex, in size, story, details and so on, to me this is the best game out there in terms of survival-open world

3:30 you're talking about "Out of the Shadows" from Nioh 1, I couldn't think of any other main mission that fit that exact description. 3:44 you're talking about "Immortal Flame" from Nioh 1, I couldn't think of any other main mission that fit that exact description. I get the point you're trying to make, but these missions were very memorable to me, even if the settings are common in soulslikes. I truly believe every main mission in Nioh 1 and 2, including DLCs is unique, whether they are fun to play through or not. I also agree that Nioh 2's DLC is the best Nioh content, mainly DLC 1 and 3, 2 was kinda mid.

Just finished days gone with just over 40 hours all in. It’s essentially a hybrid of the uncharted series crossed with last of us and it’s amazing. Played this on my ps5 and had minimal bugs. 60fps was great as well. Too bad this was probably too close to last of us and Sony had to make a cut.

I was, “pleasantly surprised.” The gameplay loop is way more satisfying than I had predicted. The growth from the total intimidation of zombie hordes which make you flee and hide, to confident badass feels well earned and paced. The hordes were the only real, “innovation,” but oh boy, they were worth it! The script is plausible and grounded, while the cast’s performances are excellent from all concerned, with Skizzo and Iron Mike being the standouts. The musical score is understated yet epic, like the script, which relies on what goes unsaid as much as what is said. And that speaks so highly of the MoCap, capturing nuance and mood from the actors’ faces with that clever music enhancing the scenes, being used so sparingly. It is an old story, told with earnest sincerity, making it powerful and worth while.

I loved Nioh. Especially the locations as I found every level very memorable and unique. It had a great mystic atmosphere. My only issue would be a lack of enemy variety (which only really stood out to me way deep into the endgame long after getting the plat). Nioh 2 had better enemy variety and some gameplay improvements but man the levels really bothered me. Instead of a mystic atmosphere we get overly fantasy based levels more reminiscent of the last nioh mission which is great as a climax in terms of the influence of the Amrita but doesn’t work as a base design for the whole game. Been wanting to tackle the dlc for a while now I’ll get to it asap.

I honestly never heard of this game and really only saw snippets of gameplay but it was never enough to intrigue me. Then I picked up a PS5 and decided to try out Days Gone and honestly, after getting all the trophies, it's definitely SO MUCH better than people initially made it out to be and I never experienced any frame drops aside from one of the challenges at the Saw Mill Horde but other than that, I loved the game

Did you really say the last of us part 2 is a better sequel? That game is a political/lesbian power trip with Abby-zilla, with a story only a femtronian could appreciate. F off, mate.
