Mounting the outlet at that position means you will get a face full of water in a head wind. If you offset it to one side it will help solve this problem

All I know damianomtb, that it takes 2 too Tango... But I agree, his new kayak is much better looking dancer then he is!

Thanks for the comment timphoto83ec. Unfortunately Valley cockpit rim profile is diffrent, with no room for the screw/washer/nut arrangment.
