ClassCastException, a Java programming language error. In this context I think it is for making update suppression -- this can be used for example making floating obsidianless nether portal.

The CCE shulker will work up to 1.20.1 but this setup to make it only works in versions below 1.19

It works the same way as with a normal rail based suppressor just that the rails are replaced by the comparator pointing into the shulker

You mean shadow Items? Yes it is possible to create them with this setup up to 1.18.2 (got patched in 1.19)

PS diese Fälle ist nur einmal nutzbar danach muss sie neu gebaut werden/ Btw you can use this trap only once then you have to rebuild it
