Is it loud enough to play with a drummer but also good for low volume in the bedroom?
@kamk1273Күн бұрын
Much easier/safer to take the springs out of the back, pull the whole bridge out, adjust the action, then put the bridge and springs back in. You can even keep your nut locked and the guitar will stay in tune too.

The V2 randall has an abundance of bass, also can crank it with its built in post EQ will shake your house. and the 400 watt SS poweramp is INANELY loud, louder than any of my tube amps. Really think the V2 is underrated the T2 imo just missed the mark

Good comparison. What I hear is the difference in the power section. Fryette has flat sound (on purpose) while Recto has very distinctive sound at power section. You should run the pedal to Mesa’s fx return to get it accurate.

The reason your trem gets stuck is not the grooves man, it's the springs that retain a memory. This is even more obvious in FR special bridges because they are build out of cheaper materials. In stead you could install a stabilizer like these: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bsx2iJx-lc7TgY0.htmlsi=RChiDoeUYogZCCpY. Good luck.

Cool vid man, Got here to find out what people in 2024 think of this gem. Bought mine 20 years ago with the matching mf400 cab. Just this week picked up a second set because these cabs are also very underrated. The K100's have a very aggressive low end which also works very well for a Dual Rectifier. Now have a spare mode four head as parts will be more and more hard to get. These arent the most reliable heads, and they tend to blow up the poweramps. Had my original one in for service twice for this. Nevertheless, Having played lots of amps, this has a special place for me. Keep up the good work!

Nice!! When you compare it to your other amps like the EVH and stuff, do you think it’s worth it(I mean the RM100 itself)? I’m asking because there’s one in my area right now for a pretty good price (700$ CAD so like 500 USD) that includes 3 modules (they are the old Randall clean, modern and recto but still) and I’m really tempted by it since I change amps all the time haha I would love to have like one clean, one Salvation Audio Spawn(which their version of the Splawn Quick Rod) and other modules.
@DeathMetalDevin17 күн бұрын
@bengirard1984 I think they are really fun to play with. The RM100 can def get as loud as any other amp I have. This mod was necessary to open it up a little more. Without it you do feel as if there's something more that u should be getting out of it. I'd say get it and go down the rabbit hole!

Dude you need a few wraps of string still. At least 1 full wrap would be good. Nice guitar though. Most guys pull the string through all the was then grap the string at the nut and pull it back to the first fret. That gives you enough string for wraps around the tuning machine

Having had the mode four 350w head, 400w cab, for 20yrs+, i can say reliability, only thing ive had to touch is the fans. Chuck a boost, EQ pedal, and a noisegate in front of this beast and you have a unique bad ass sound

Not sure if you checked the levels on send and return but the footswitch controls if its on or off (can be on even if the footswitch is unplugged because it remembers). If it is on, then even when nothing is plugged in then the send and return are affecting tone and having the return low especially then it sounds anemic. Having the send low also definitely also does the same
