As a photographer, I’ve tried Stellar, and Recoverit for data recovery. I found Stellar Data Recovery to be the most reliable and easy to use. It effectively restored my lost photos and files, making it my top recommendation for quick and dependable recovery.

Hey Matthew - On your full website review (and at 4:20 in the video), you mentioned, "The only time that I lost focus, frequently, was when I was tracking a player and zooming the lens at the same time…" ^ Seems like the lens isn't parfocal; I'm experiencing the same thing with the Tamron 35-150mm my Z9. How do you shoot with this limitation when action rapidly comes toward you? Any other lenses you prefer instead?

my tamron was a bit tilted, shimming at the mount helped. then i had to swing and tilt the front group a little, and now it absolutely smokes the rental canon 70-200 i had a chance to compare it to.

Hi Matt, I appreciate these comparisons that you have done. I recently purchased a Canon 6D and have purchased the Tamron 45mm f1.8 and the Tamron 100-400. I am shopping on a budget, but quality images are very important to me. My other camera is a Leica X Vario, that I only purchased for the lens performance...and definitely not the cameras handling performance. It is used as my snapshot, take it anywhere device. Cheers from Victoria. PS...I chuckled at your comment of a sunny day in Seattle.

Wow! it's 9 years later and you blow most lens review channels out of the water. This was a breath of fresh air, most lens reviews are just weekend cheer leaders for what ever lens they found on ebay recently that they can write a review about. I swear you could put a trash kit lens from the 2010 in front of them and they would celebrate it and pull buzz words out their ass like film-like and "it has character".
@user-jo8njАй бұрын
the main quality of the lens is not necessarily sharpness but quality of the bokeh for portraits which I cannot find here, both at print and display level nobody notices sharpness but bokeh indeed

Hi! I have a canon r8 and am currently looking for an affordable lens in the focal range of 24-70 or 24-105. I'm willing to buy used and everything under ~800€ is okay. Which lens would you recommend? I already have an ef-rf adapter, so the ef mount is definitely a possibility. I mainly want a really nice and sharp lens, preferably with a fixed aperture of 2.8 (or 4). But there is 20 years of lenses to work through and I kinda lost track of which one is still good to todays standard, yet affordable.

just thinking about buying diskdrill because Somona corrupted all my 2 back up ext hdds in 2 days exactly when first was formated and wanted to copy from working one and in that time of coppying somona disconnected the working one with data and corrupted it so one was formatted and the second one was not acessable.... you can imagine the horror. 2 days 2 hdds out of order from connecting to new mac M2 with all raw family photos.

Still enjoying my tamron 27-40 VC! In the lab, Canon might be a bit sharper. In real life though, the VC in the tamron is what gives it the edge. The Canon is theoretically shrper (in the lab), in real world VC matters more

I have the Tamron. It's a pretty good lens. If is, of course, a walking compromise but that's ok. It's a travel lens and I pair it with my A7C for a lightweight super zoom. It goes well with my 28-70 lens.

Late reaction.... But I notice the Tamron is less wide than the Canon in the Space Needle shots. Is the Tamron really 35mm or maybe 36....37...etc.?

Great video. Thank you! Is it possible to remove electrical wires from a video clip. Would I have to use the clone tool to brush them out frame by frame? I have some perfect drone footage but the wires get in the frame mid way through the clip. Thanks in advance

Awesome comparison video! I believe I will go with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II. The Canon pairs better with the 90D. I’ll also adapt it onto my R6MKII. Thanks again

In my experience, I actually prefer a good number of Sigma lenses over Canon, quality wise. Only downside is, when travelling, Sigma's feel like you're carrying bricks in your bag 😵💫
