Some of them could be found today, like Sonic, for example, but it is quite close to be discontinued as well

I grew up drinking Black Label. Sadly, i can't find it here in Missouri. I could buy it in Georgia when I lived in the south, but not in Alabama.

You're confusing Schmidt's and Schmidt, two different beers if I'm not mistaken. Schmidt's (of Philadelphia) was a beer I loved. Schmidt was from the Pacific Northwest and not related to Schmidt's. If I'm wrong please correct me, but I don't think I am.

One real treasure was Ortleib's, "Joe's beer." in Philly. That was premium brew.

What? No Schmidt's? Schmidt's will ring the bell for ya, Schmidt's of Philadelphia, Schmidt's, the full-taste beer!

Old Style from La Crosse WI. You could get it at Cubs games. I started drinking that from my grandpa's fridge/tap in his boathouse when i was 14.

My dad always preferred Hamms; I used to love the commercials from the 60s.

Potato skins were a favorite of mine in the late 70s/early 80s, especially from the restaurant chain "Ground Round".

My Mamaw's pork chops were so good that would melt in your mouth. She dipped the chops in a mixture of egg & milk, then dredged them in corn (not frosted) flake crumbs. This was in the 1960s.

Frosted flakes were not used in cooking. It was crushed corn flakes, or you could buy a box of Kelloggs corn flake crumbs.

I'm almost 65, and I played with my share of Major Matt Mason toys when I was a kid. They were pretty cool, but due to the posing wires constantly breaking - which we called "Gumby's Disease," back in the day - they rarely lasted more than a few weeks of playtime. (But now that a movie was made about "Barbie;" how about one for "Major Matt Mason" . . . ?) I never had one of those Vac-U-Form sets, but I knew some kids at school who did. Interestingly, many of those Vac-U-Forms had a second life when those of us who became serious plastic modelers dug them out of the attic to make thinner, more realistic canopies for our model aircraft using the kit supplied part as the form, as well as to make conversion parts. As for the issues with the Thingmaker (I had the Fighting Men set) getting too hot; my parents just told me - as they did with my Woodburner set - to be careful and treat the 'tool' with all due respect. I was about eight when I had these, and when I was about 6 - 7, I helped my older cousins cast lead(!) soldiers on their family's kitchen stove! I also once assembled a model plane - albeit outside - using carbon tetrachloride because I had no styrene cement, and it was Sunday, so all the stores were closed. Thanks for sharing this, but please do something about that AI voice . . . . 31st Like.

@@TimeMachineOfficial Yes, but this is a video about luxury goods of the 60's. The 68 Eldorado is even referenced. Photos of the cars from that decade should be shown.

We used to steal cases of whatever beer truck was at FELDPAUSCH grocery across the parking lot from school and drink it on the catwalks above the stage in the school theater. Never got caught.

According to Wikipedia, Pecan Pie was first created probably around 1930 (thanks to Karo Syrup) but grew in popularity in the 1940's and 50's. German Chocolate Cake is from 1957. Two great desserts regardless of the decade

I loved the 7-Up bar and the Sky Bar. The sky bar I believe disappeared in the 80s outlasting the 7-Up bar. There was another version of the bars that were airy and has crisp and is still around because I was at a hardware store and they had a small selection of candy and they had it, it’s the Whatchamacallit Candy Bar.

I remember Biff Burger originated in the Tampa Bay area. Great burgers with special sauce, i used to buy them for 25 cents each back in the 70s. There was one across the street from where i worked in Tampa and would go there on lunch break.
