It’s definitely not a good game but it’s fun. Pixel Strike 3D is also a bad game that’s pretty fun

The power of a custom modded browser isn't just strong, it's too strong. Developers don't want you playing their older games in which they derive no profit from you anymore. That's why they don't do it anymore. They don't want you to keep playing their older games when they release a new game. They want control over that aspect and the power to pull the plug (shut down the servers) whenever they want. They also don't want users creating their own content because it negatively impacts the eventual manipulative monetization schemes they want to shove into their games and the fun and creative ideas made by the community makes the developers look bad in comparison. You know, the whole, "don't over-deliver" practice AAA game devs are beholden to these days. Mediocrity isn't a mistake, it is an intentional feature.

This game was the best. Kills were nice but it was really about the objective and if you had a team of all the classes working together you would succeed. I would switch to what my team needed and do whatever I could do to win, kills were not relevant. That said I think I cracked 90 kills a number of times, 2 with MG42, the rest medic. With the MG42 and a field ops supplying me with ammo I had the devils paintbrush and could deny an area. It was really 2 lanes on one map, otherwise you are a useless teammate choosing that gun. The other is the rambo medic. At max level you get an adrenaline shot ability that gives you damage reduction so i could sprint into groups and kill them all. I mastered switching to my dual pistols at 29 rounds spent so it wouldn't start a reload and I had 2 more mags to empty. Plus you can give yourself med packs in downtime so you are always at full hp. Enemy Territory rules!

Haven't played Eldewrito since MCC came to PC but with the sudden current cheating epidemic I'm coming back for a visit. Eldewrito gave me such a sense of community that I haven't felt since Halo 3 and MCC just doesn't replicate that feeling. I still love it but it's just not the same and Eldewrito is much closer to that feeling we all used to have when playing Halo 3 customs.

Yeah it's a blast. What's less of a blast is all the cheaters still active on the servers. So who wants to play that?
