Is Jason Bonham ever going to play his own music or just continue playing Led Zeppelins music? I mean really... We have almost every show on tape. Does anyone really need another cover band?
@zublacus7 ай бұрын
If your dad made that music, wouldn't you want to play it? Ever hear of Dweezel on Zappa? Quit being suck a dick. Just enjoy it.

His cover-band is directly linked and endorsed by Jimmy page and Robert plant. Majority of profits are donated to charities but also lots of sales go to the zeppelin brand itself. Unlike the other cover bands who just outright do it for a profit . The guitarist for this band has played for Jimmy page both album version and live versions of all songs in Japan and had impressed Jimmy . So I’d say this band has a well deserved reputation for the quality they always put out . Seeing them live hits way different

Guitar player, take the pick out of your mouth, very unprofessional. Im sorry, Jason is not John, and this isn't even close to Zeppelin. Sounds like any other cover band to me. Jason comes up on stage, mid-song, and not crazy about him changing the drum parts from the original. But who am I.
@zublacus7 ай бұрын
You're right Jason is NOT John...not even close, but can he play his Dad's songs for god's sake?? Now...how da fuq do you think Jimmy Page played it? There's nothing "unprofessional" about it. Almost every guitar player does it, unless they are habitual guitar pick throwers. Eddie Van Halen put the pick in his mouth when he was doing long double taps. Was Eddie "unprofessional" too?? Go watch Song Remains The Same....the first part of Stairway, Jimmy is picking with his fingers and has a guitar pick in his mouth and about 5 seconds in, he sucks the pick into his mouth. OMG how unprofessional. <SMH>.

I have been hearing this song since 1979 this song was sung by Robert Plant, can't get it enough, it's marvellous, forever to listen but it's never enough, can't count it how many times hear it, but I every week and month pass by still listening, it's a master piece that was only created one time by Led Zeppelin.

Jimmy Sakurai also does something Jimmy never did....He plays the final lick of the solo at the 17th and 20th fret. Jimmy was never able or decided it was too risky, so he played it lower due the design of Gibson EDS 1275.

@@kimberlyelton9604 Ok...relax. As a guitar player...just giving you facts. This version is 2 beats per minute faster than the original, so it's not "Slower". And Page is Page...I saw him live....but the fact is...he never played that lick live. It takes a lot of risk for Jimmy Sakurai to attempt it, given the design of the guitar. Go watch SRTS, and you'll see he doesn't play it.

It's really sad that so many bands nowadays attempt to carry on with only one or two original members remaining, trying in vain to come close to that sound. All due respect to everyone, but this isn't even a close call compared to the unit of DuBrow, Cavazo, and most certainly not Rudy Sarzo. RIP Frankie, bless you for hanging in there nonetheless. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rteDrMRkyLvIqKM.html

Sorry...the older I get the more I understand....They are musicians...they just want to play. And don't say get a new band....that's just not possible and get anyone to attend. Ask George Lynch. He's had like 5 bands since Dokken, but only Dokken or Lynch Mob gets anyone to attend.
@cygnus-studios Жыл бұрын
If they just "want to play", let them write their own music instead of attempting to copy and transform into some sort of tribute band. This has nothing to do with QR beyond that.

@zublacus Жыл бұрын
@@cygnus-studios Frankie is on drums and Chuck Wright is on bass. He was the bass player before Rudy and sang all the backups and played bass on Mental Health. Why does Frankie and Chuck have to write new music in a new band? Why can't they just play in the band they created?? Alex Grossi has been the guitar player in Quiet Riot longer than any other guitar player. He's been the guitar player since 2004. If you don't want to hear the songs, considering the singer is dead, don't go. BTW...QR is still playing...Rudy Sarzo is back on bass, along with Alex and Rudy has less claim to the name than Chuck does. It's the reality...there aren't any bands coming along to replace these guys...that's why Foreigner has no original members, Molly Hatchet they're all dead...Y&T tours with only Dave left alive, Skynyrd only Rickey Medlocke is left.
