I have various mods installed which I want to keep, I simply want to get Patrix to work on Forge 47.1.30 / Minecraft 1.20.1, any tips on how to do that?

Have look on Modrinth for the modpack Packtrix - I made a beta version for Forge 1.20.1

@@sasquott I installed the modpack, but when I try to merge my mods with at least the patrix resource pack, the game crashes, and I cant figure out why

@@joesama8818 well you probably have a mod conflicting with the ones that work, it would have worked before you added other things

@@joesama8818 it’s not conflicting with the resource pack, but mods that won’t work with other mods, with Synitra Connector still being beta, that’s why I made the pack beta, most mods will have a compatability/issues list somewhere, but I did find in testing, if the fabric mod you want doesn’t work, try the forge port of it (with the exception of Continuity, that was the whole reason for setting up the Forge version of Packtrix, so don’t replace that) try adding your mods one at a time from the base modpack as we all know that works with Patrix

How can i get access to the wool fix? Id like to have colors again and im on 1.20.1, if patreon is the only option ill go pay too :)

The link to the WoolFix packs are available to Patrix Patreon subscribers, on Patrix Discord, the link is in the pins of the modding channel, but you can also try Vanadium mod, works with newer versions of Sodium. Also a new mod called Polytone might work for you

I use the official Patrix modpack I put together - Packtrix - it's on Modrinth, has all the basic mods you need, and shaders already set up correctly, uses free 32x, then you can strip in the Petreon paid for higher res textures as per another of my videos (please be aware of 256x warnings, I recommend sticking to the 128x) and you can also add any QoL, map mods/terrain generation you want to add

How difficult is it to download the Iris packs to use this? I use Optifine, but want the latest RV update for better lighting stability. On an unrelated not, how has your Ryzen 9 5900X been treating you? Mine came stock at 1.4 volts trying to run at 4.9Ghz. Probably almost fried it and everything else before fixing it.

as for the 5900x, yeah, I ran it at 4.9 for a while, got a little better performance out of it, but the AIO cooler isn't up to the task, (NZXT Kraken z73) so back to stock and it's stable again

can you give me the patrix_fabric_iris_cem fix please? it fixes the mobs. i have the 32x(free) version and the mobs look terrible

Thank you thank you thank you so much sir!!! Patrix is no doubtely the best texture pack available in the minecraft community but the biggest flaw was that the mobs weren't textured...but recently in most of the realistic minecraft videos out there I have been noticing that the mobs are getting textured one by one but guess what? no one showcased them!!! I am so thankful to you for showcasing them!!! They look beautiful!!! But I have one request...could you give it a little bit more time and showcase them in a more detailed way🥺 I hope you will!!! Also you missed the villager!

This is not a showcase, it's a 'how-to' or 'help' video for folk running Iris and Sodium and need CEM mod, there is a showcase on his Patreon page and also in discord. Patrix is 100% BLOCK complete, but is working his way though mobs, adding them after votes on discord poll - villagers will be last as there are lots of occupations, and zombie villagers to do. You could always use the Conquest mobs placeholders pinned in Patrix discord

You think a one-off payment of $2 is charging too much for what Patrix has created? That's all it costs to join Patreon for one month, download a higher res pack, get in the Discord server and disconnect if you can't afford to keep up monthly updates! I am 99% certain that connected textures are only going to work in optifine :( I miss a lot of its features since swapping to a fabric/ sodium framework but omg the fps is so worth it haha Maybe they'll implement in natively in the future!

And it’s been released, mod to connect textures in sodium/Iris is now called Continuity

Have you found a way to get Patrix connected textures to work in fabric as they would in optifine? I've tried a few different connected texture mods, they don't seem to work. Even attempted to convert the pack, no go so far. Wish patrix would work on that, fabric and sodium based rendering is obviously the future.

I’ve got CTM and CBT compiled but can only get sandstone to work for now, being told CTM is a problem, really broken for now

In case you hadn't seen another reply, Look for Pepper's Mods - NTCM, think it's almost ready for release, the Alpha builds are available on Discord, work great with Iris & Sodium but no Normals/bumpmap/specular compatability yet
