フィガロのオペラ映画で、役者的にも資金的にもこれに匹敵するものを作ることは、現在では絶対不可能でしょうね。ディスカウ、カナワ始め見事な歌手が勢揃いですが、プライのユニークな個性には改めて感心させられました。

Dame Kiri understands that these are young singers, very vulnerable at this stage of development. She knows that the death of a young voice comes with forcing. This seems to be the main point she is making here. She takes any pressure off the voices and then they will expand and flourish gradually with time and focussed practice.

Kiri as the 'Countess' in Strauss' 'Capriccio' at the MET was unforgettable. Her lush wonderful voice added magic to every role she undertook, especially Strauss and Mozart. Love Kiri!

Adore Kiri and Norma duet. Every time I watch as nd listen find new tones. The laughter just bubbles up. The skill and talent to sing this is incredible. Joy and love to both ladies.
