My mother is a person on the autism spectrum, and very disorganized. She has also been physically unwell her entire life. Polio, Arthritis, Heart Birth Defect...and much more. As her oldest daughter, I have been her caregiver since childhood. I became a nurse which added to my burden since mother seemed to enjoy being in need of nursing care....and there I was all educated in whatever she needed for care. Now she is heavily pain medicated and residing in a nursing home. Every time I visit her....I can't sleep for many nights. My anxiety levels make life so difficult for me. I want to change things for her but I know I can't. I do my best for her....unfortunately, I am near empty emotionally from 72 years of her care. I never had a mother/daughter relationship. It was always mother/caregiver.

Look into the history of the measles vaccine.. look what happened when they brought that into black communities in the South because it was needed.. do your research

You will most likely be in a LOT on pain post operation....sternal precautions can last up to 12 weeks. My father went through this nightmare only to have his bypasses completely blocked after less than three years. When the Doctor suggested ANOTHER CABG procedure,,,.....my father politely told him to go - - - - himself!
