I like how people say: thanks, I'm gonna go do this good, but in reality it takes a week to get good at. People wonder if there is snow in the middle of winter as well .-.

How's Jay peak for riders? We are planning a late trip in a week or two and thinking between Jay, stowe or okemo
@loawingr9 жыл бұрын
The good thing for boarders is that Jay Peak didn't have many traversing trails and there aren't any t-bars. My group really enjoyed the ski in and out from our suite. There is a grocery store there too if you dont feel like going out every night but it is still quite expensive. One thing I didn't like was the gondola was one giant cabin that went back and forth. You had to stand the whole time which wasn't very comfortable since they pack you in like sardines. All in all I had a good time riding there. I haven't been to stowe or ekemo yet so I can't compare.

Unfortunately.. for now I just can't do anything. I'm working with my Neurologist right now though. I actually have an appointment next week for testing and medication discussion. For now no Boarding. I've decided either way June 10, 2016, I'm skydiving! I can't wait any longer, I'll be miserable after... Pretty sure it'll be worth it though!

Wow. Japan looks amazing. How long is that pole youre using for your GoPro?
@loawingr10 жыл бұрын
I bought a trekking pole that could change length so I can't give you an exact length. It was around 1 meter in length or just a tad more than that I believe.

That was great relax snowboarding, the way i like it. I will give this place a shot. What kind of SD card you use for your Go Pro? i use a SanDisk Ultra 64gigs and it seems to last for just couple of months, this card is like $80

Can you remember how long the gondola ride was?
@loawingr11 жыл бұрын
It is a North Face Hamerhead Hydration pack.
@loawingr11 жыл бұрын
It was about a 20 minute gondola ride to the base of the ski resort and another 10 minute chair lift ride to get to the top. You have to take multiple chair lifts.
@loawingr11 жыл бұрын
You are right. It really depends on where you go. I just went to Zermatt Switzerland. It took me 40 minutes to get to the top.
