The coaster wars basically ended cause of 2008 sf going bankrupt and Kinzel retired though he did say someone will go bankrupt and he was right also CF acquired the paramount parks and gwhich I'm sure made them pull back big time too

Kind of funny to think back to like 15-20 years ago. Folks have been predicting B&M Dive for SFGAm for that long. Different kind of Dive Machine, but it finally happened.

Im stoked for Lost Island to get an RMC single rail. Traveling from Minneapolis, it's about 3 hours to Lost Island. Well worth the trip once a year for me now.

Great Americas president said they purposely kept any theming elements out of the video. I’m hoping Cedar fair CEO (who has been in the park recently) sees the parks potential and wants to achieve it.

I was at Great America a few days ago and Raging Bull’s trims have actually been barely hitting all season, so it’s currently running amazing.

Man it’s too bad almost all but 2 models of the raptors are clones. Stunt pilot is basically indistinguishable from og wonderwoman raptor anyway

If you watch the press conference they had at 11, they mentioned they specifically did not show the station/on ride POV, because they are still working on the theme. They want to really theme that area along with Demon. And I believe they are going to do it because they also said that Dr. diabolical was originally designed for that area, but Great America wanted to go bigger, so they for Rakshasa instead, and you can see all the theme that has.

The colors match what they are going for. Rakshasa is a tiger demon in certain lore that wears a blue cloak and also has hints of red and yellow in the rest of the outfit. As for theming, the park president said at the in park announcement that they have been working with a designer for the last 6 months and more will be announced on that. He also stated they are looking into re-theming the area to coincide with the demon theme from both coasters now. It will also have pass through lockers since it is over the midway, no loose articles will be allowed.

Everyone here is ignoring the fact that Demon had a slight refurbishment last year. This is likely going to be a massive refurbishment with upgraded theming. Example of being Nessie.

ok getting snippets of these i remember seeing one that mentioned "it lies between the eyes of the demon" and looking at the map layout and thinking it out. i have this bad feeling that american eagle is on the chopping block for whatever this is. because think of demons 2 loops, they look like eyes, look thru those loops and what old coaster is in its sight, american eagle. which im sad if my guess becomes right as that was a childhood favorite and a month ago i went there and found i had gained too much weight, lost enough in a short time to fit on rides i coudlnt but didnt go for american eagle like i should have. because thinking this thru, i think demon is staying and american eagle is going. which would aslo make sense because right next to it you have the brand new sky striker, and in that space american eagle does look dated and out of place. meaning viper will remain the only true wooden coaster left in the park. and that space gives them enough room to make something very intense and well laid out.

THIS plot is truly lackluster. It JUST seems like BG throws things back THERE for confetti 🎊 and hope IT sticks. DRACHEN FIRE 🔥 could've been saved abd revamped. Yet, it was scrapped ONLY after six years due to low rider performance and the bad wrap that it got. They thrrew that rollercoaster 🎢 together TOO quick. NOW, THIS new family invert serns like a package deal for some reason. It's not even getting any fanfare at ALL!!! Unlike RAPTERRA at KD with it's hoopla. JUST goes to show THAT even BG doesn't have confidence with that project EITHER! It looks like a defunct carnival construction 🚧 site who lost it's funding right now. 😫

Cedar Point is 364 acres and Long Island NY is 1,401 acres. So if you bulldozed that entire island you could fit 3 Cedar Points there and have half a parks worth of parking.

I think thoosies need to separate KD from CW. KD made their attempt with their mountain and a coaster, it failed. This is CW 4 coaster to interact with the mountain. Either it was built better or managed better... you choose. People can either continue to hate on CW or just get off your asses as make your way to Canada. Regardless, CW gets thw best ride of 2025

They honestly just need to rmc eagle already. This still feels like filler Hopefully they surprise us like Canada's Wonderland. An axis would be unique and cool🤞

Honestly i’d be happy with a Tilt or a Dive coaster. I’ve never been on either and as a coaster enthusiast i’m sure i’d love it being at my home park and not having to spend $$ going further away if it’s not necessary. However taking a trip to a different park in my opinion (for a new ride experience) is apart of the coaster enthusiast journey. I am not opposed to it. However in my own opinion I do in fact believe six flags is getting a dive coaster next year and most likely will be removing demon eventually (I dont know if the dive coaster is going in the spot ((i’m assuming it may)) but demon will be removed) overall sfgamerica is in for a upgraded roller coaster like up with buckaneer battle being removed, the go karts and eventually demon. I also see them removing the log flume as well which could potentially open a spot for an RMC raptor clone or maybe even a small scale 250ft rmc trex. I am here though 😭

Maybe they have a first drop from buccaneers sight with a turnaround/immellman in that plot next to demon so that the first drop has a good photo op. Really hope its not a dive..

I will say this I just got back from fiesta and I was blown away with Dr..it's amazing 🔥🔥🔥... I was in full shock...I hit the station breaks and was like omggg that was Amazing...if this isn't a dive..I will gladey take it over our Invert..this will kill at VF 🎤🎤💯💯..give us a dive like Dr..it will do amazing their..bet👀👀..it was soooo good.....yes its small but it packed a punch.. everything works...💯💯😍😍♥️♥️

I'm gonna not really make a prediction here, but has anybody considered possibly a Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster. Everybody is trying to figure out how they get a major coaster compacted into that Buccaneer Battle spot. Well, a totally vertical lift hill does just that. Their coasters pack a lot of coaster into a fairly compact chunk of land. How about 5 degrees beyond vertical, a 165 ft. vertical lift & 160 ft. Drop, with 7 inversions. Just thinking outside the box here.

I have come to the conclusion that the coaster community are among the most ungrateful and insatiable people. There's almost always something to complain about or some reason to be disappointed.

I think Marcus Leshock was onto something when he suggested five means this would make 5 B & M roller coasters in the park. And I'm sorry to break it to you, but not everybody is in the position to drive 4 1/2 to 6 hours to go to Cedar Point when we have a pass for Great America because it's our local park just to ride a dive coaster. Having one at our park would be really good for those of us who don't have lifestyles that allow us to just travel to go to all different kinds of theme parks. Just because you've been on enough of them doesn't mean that some of us have been on any of them, and having one in our park would be a nice addition for many of us.

Also we need approval from the village for any ride taller than 125 feet. I cant see a 5 inverted dive coaster unless it's 250 feet tall. I've been on sheikra and it infuriates me Yukon striker has a rider maximum

Workers confirmed today at the park little dipper demon and the go karts are being demolished for this new ride

Another thing I heard is that the left over letters from the teasers could also signify maybe the height of the ride because if you look at the left over letters there are 7 s’s left over 2 A’s left over and 1 R left over so maybe the height could be 172ft or 217ft maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️let’s just wait and see the official announcement next week

I definitely think it’s a five coaster however I think the giga dive is going to carowinds. It was on the survey sent out to pas holders

They also gave a private clue to a group that focuses on Great America and that clue was "break"

It'll be a black coaster called Raksasha. Records are most inversions 5. Interlocking loops like lockness. Cobra roll. And zero g. Next record is steepest drop for dive. Going underground as well. Also two drops above 200 ft for a dive coaster. Might be 220 and 200. The ride will go over midway I think. Bot entirely sure

Its so obvious that its a dive. Just a matter of what size we get.

Dive seem to be the rage. They are not bad but valraven was rather meh to me. Hope this will have more punch.
