The second time a bunch of KZfaq clips about a hitman show has led me to a new favorite. Mr. Inbetween is a lot easier to watch than Barry though, imo.

I just noticed this. He may have closed his eyes, but his hand went to the back of his jacket where he probably had a pistol. He might trust his buddy, but he's not stupid.

Just look at the way Ray puts his gun down very carefully, knowing he's gonna win and come back to pick it up. It's not the dog in the fight, it's the fight in the dog. Nuff said.

I like how Ray gets annoyed when he realizes the guy cares about his friends dying as he's dying. Speaks to the time Ray was in the military I feel.

How do you get your eye gouged out…and just pop it back in all fine and good?
@harpiyonАй бұрын
This is one realistic fight scene! No fluff, no fancy moves, no oneliners. Fighting is damn tiring, and it shows. Damn brutal, too. Eye gouging, biting, it's all there. And those elbows to the fists were sick! Awesome scene.

Appreciate how this calls back to Rays talk in the school earlier where he tells a kid "its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog" He's fighting a guy clearly a lot larger than he is but hes got that grit to pull himself through it It's little realizations like this for me that make me appreciate how fucking great this show is and how much thought Scott Ryan put in

I know this is a movie and hypothetical but it’s 100% correct. When people do stuff and there’s no consequences they keep on doing it, until there are.
@rumination23992 ай бұрын
should have left in the lead-in ambush his dog saves him from with its brief gunfight, the whole scene flows together so organically and is what gives this engagement with the last ambusher extra dramatic weight

People who are fortunate enough to not grow up in or around violence just can’t ever understand it and/or how it changes the brains of those who are “less fortunate”. We never got out of fight or flight mode, we’re underdeveloped and it’s beyond cognitive; that’s why therapists can’t help us, it’s not emotional, we can’t be rehabilitated, our brains were retarded through trauma, its primal genetic expression. It’s not a twist of Cain problem like anger or rage. It’s a sons and daughters of Cain, and cities of Cain epidemic and the realization (if you’re “lucky” to survive to that level of court appointed enlightenment) that you don’t even know what good is, it never knew you; but you do know that if you had it, you couldn’t hold it, because you don’t even want it. A house is not a home. A neighborhood can have pocket fences, or it can have barbed wire or it can have steel bars. Cribs are for infants. Hoods are for robbers. Without love, it’s hate thy neighbor as thyself. Lord have mercy on us. We are the problem children only you can raise, the Father we need. If you’re willing, 🙏 work a miracle in us for your glory, there’s a lot of other crooked sons out there in need of your touch. ☮️

I been in the gang/drug life before and there is a level of respect between people, at least the ones that aint pedos and wife bashers. Calling out their guns are out and then going in to a fist fight is absolutely realistic. If one of em lied, they'd be dead the next day no questions asked.
