Great video! Question... I have the same set up (X2 with the RODE dual wireless mics to one receiver). I have both mics on and they are both showing up on the receiver. However, the 2x only records one channel. Is there a setting that allow for two channels of audio to be recorded at the same time from the RODE to the x2? Cheers!
@BanditmanukКүн бұрын
@eyeconvideo You need the Rode receiver set to merged input. There's plenty of helpful vids on the net. We keep the Rode receiver permanently in merged setting and mono settings so our voice comes out the left and right speakers. Once set up, it's a great system that we still use on all our current vids.

@roadwarrior8560 Yep. A good hotel. It was also in a prime position for what was supposed to be one of the best rides in the Pyrenees back towards Laruns the following morning. That, too, was also closed. We couldn't find the reasons behind the closures. It could still be snow (mid-June?), but more likely post winter road repairs. @@Banditmanuk I agree. I huff and puff getting up the hills. Motorcycles are great equalizers. I ride both. The bike helps with the fitness and sharpens the reflexes. The very small tire contact patch requires the rider to manage weight transfer smoothly and carefully when cornering at speed on the descents of the cols. Those skills transfer nicely to riding motorcycles. Now if I could get my motorcycle to Europe.... I would do a tour just like yours. 😊

I can't remember a time when I've went out in a parking lot full of BMWs, Honda's or Harley Davidsons and thought gee I wish I would have a bike that blends in with the crowd. How many times have asked what someone rides and they say a black Harley' or GSs and you just shrug your shoulders indifferently? It's a bummer to have your plan on a specific road and you can't ride it.
@Banditmanuk4 күн бұрын
BMW GS motorcycles massively outsell all other bikes here in Europe in the large capacity bike sector. I guess they must be good but you see them everywhere in the Pyrenees. At least we stood out from the crowd. We just wanted to ride the high cols. Unfortunately, lots were closed with road works.
