The DA dropped the DUI charges because the blood draw "could take a year and the defendant has a right to a speedy trial." But they can refile DUI charges at a later time. I'll believe when I see it.

I just read an update. Due to the blood tests taking up to a year - to be tested - prosecutors pulled the charges ( for now) so the right to a speedy trial, isnt used up. As soon as the results are received. Then they will refile the charges. Probably be around the year mark.

I understand that her behavior was ridiculous but I thought throwing her in the jail cell at the end was a bit rough. She could have been hurt. I get it though- it's a tough profession working in law enforcement.
