For those of you who have argued that the train was there 1st. In my case my home was built 1st and then a new project was put in to where they added a track putting it 25ft from the home and increased the frequency of how often the trains run. They did all this saying that they would be asking for a quiet zone. Even if they are successful in achieving the quiet zone I can tell you that at 25ft their is not much that I can do to stop the vibration that a passing freight causes. How does this not diminish the value of my property?

I pray God held on to her family especially her daughter. The story is heart wrenching.

I did this PT test about 10 years ago. Aced it in jeans and a tshirt. Everyone else was wearing gym clothes.

First of all, this guy blames the train for killing a dog as if the train was supposed to swerve or brake. The owners or whoever claims to care about the dog should have kept it away from the tracks. Secondly, when I bought my house almost 20 years ago I knew train tracks were behind the house so I was never going to complain about the train. The sounds have become soothing to me now.

When that padding topper is (quilt stitched for a better word) to a foam layer, especially on an expensive mattress, that piece can go right into a washing machine and makes the most wonderful big piece of material to make a cover for a recliner chair out of it. I saved one off of a waterbed mattress pouch I bought 30 years ago, it is over a recliner chair as I key this recommendation, and is the most comfortable easy to move against foam covered material that if I had to hunt for this fabric in an yard goods store I would never find it. To think I almost tossed it, but then decided to wait a bit to give me a little more time to think of a use. So glad I waited, it is not just wonderful, but launderable as well, and smells soooo nice.
