Holy shit, I have never disagreed harder with a character rating. There’s having hot takes and then there’s calling Nel and Rafal, easily two of the best written characters in engage with such good supports and character moments mediocre. My dude really said Engage Anna was the worst Anna with his whole chest when TH’s Anna is barely a character. Except with celica. Based opinion there.

"Not bad for a villain" Are you fucking kidding me?!?!? She's the hero of the story. She's practically the main character. I'm not saying she's perfect, or even that she's not wrong in some of the stuff she does, but her heart is righteous and good. She just wants to help make the world a place that won't create more like her. The villains of the game are TWSITD, as well as maybe, kind of Rhea. (Hard to say, clearly evil but also just not what she is made out to be by TWSITD.)

On one hand, she did start the war against the Church of Seiros, so technically Edelgard's a villain in some aspect(s), but on the other hand, she did have a good intention(s) on making Fodlan a better place for everyone. Though, as they say "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

Technically speaking, these are stage transitions. All most all of them, the same idea like in games such as dbfz, dead or alive, injustice and older mortal kombat games, etc. You’re just moving to a different part of the stage. Stage interactions in tekken first debuted in T4 with stages like the airport, parking garage, the underground, and Shinjuku. Not to mention that was the first tekken to introduce the wall splat system as an interactive as well.
