if you are really focused then you'll realize they already hinted everything from episode 1 and opening itself if i can trust japanese fans, they said "that" character gonna become worse in the future after this arc shame tho, the author really wants to subversive the usual cliche trope so hard that it cost my favourite character 😭 why must be "that" character ... why 😭

The reveal surprised me because they played it so straight up until that point. I was glad that at least they didn't have that character become some cartoony villain and start shouting their master plan while laughing maniacally, but I can see how it would still be a hard blow if that was your favorite character.

Many people with DID who have seen this show strongly relate to it from the apparent "switches." ... I believe I am one of these people. The English language doesn't have the words to explain the relief that one could feel from finding a piece of media they strongly relate to, and then having one very eloquently describe their reality through a character's eyes. Knowing that ghost and lapis had the same relationship that phos and and the gem inside ghost, even after that all the concepts of "you dont do this because you want, its just instinct" like how all gems feel the need to protect adamant, the manga really broke me, knowing everyone suferred so much just by existing, how the only way to stop the pain is just to not be there anymore, i just wish lunarians would have come to earth and just talked with everyone and be friends

Three years late to the party but WTH, I just saw Super Cub yesterday on Muse Asia. Muse has compiled the entire series into one video with the ED of the previous episode gliding smoothly into the intro sting of the next one, followed by the OP. I didn't know this yet as I neared the end of ep 1, and wanting to skip the ED and OP I skipped forward over the part where Koguma announced coming to school on her Cub in ep 2. Anyway, I paused this video just to rewatch ep 2, and I ended up going to the start of ep 1 and rewatching the entire series. About Koguma's announcement, I still think it was a daydream but it was also a tangible moment of character development. They don't preclude each other, and especially because the anime lets us inside Koguma's head a lot it's not surprising that at least some of her character development is internal. (And like a true introvert, Koguma is mostly feeling her emotions instead of enunciating them even inside her own head. The anime treats this in a show, don't tell manner. Brilliant portrayal of an introverted personality.)
@littleorphananimeYT2 ай бұрын
My favorite part of this is that you went back to watch one episode and ended up rewatching the whole thing. 😆 Nice point that Koguma's inner personality influences the way that her world is shown to us. You can tell that the director really wanted to show her perspective rather than some "objective reality."

I wanted to watch Jellyfish but I don't have HiDive. I gave Unnamed Memory a shot (because of Frieren voice actress is a main again) but the exposition dump in the first episode really took the wind out of those sails. And then I'm really enjoying Go! Go! Loser Ranger. I"m not a fan of Power Rangers either but it's more The Boys than power rangers. Also from the director who did Tiger and Bunny which I enjoyed for the most part. Great list though! I may slide one or two into my packed schedule.

Now that you say that, I can see the Tiger and Bunny similarities with Loser Ranger. not a show I’d rec either. over the course of watching, I wanted to drop it at least twice. the first 2-3 episodes were fairly interesting but things went downhill pretty fast I understand it’s a small-budget production but still got offended by the slideshow turn-based combat in the last few episodes Otonari-chan is moe but they only used her as bait to keep us watching; shame on them plus I really cannot stomach harem and this is far too harem-y despite how the mc doesn’t reciprocate no to S2 - I’m done😢 you got any hidden gem high stakes anime to rec, btw?
@littleorphananimeYT4 ай бұрын
Hm, most of the good shows that have high stakes tend to be fairly well known. Nothing recent comes to mind. Maybe Raven of the Inner Palace, though the stakes are fairly low at first. Scrapped Princess is a good one that builds up its stakes. Crest of the Stars has galactic warfare, so maybe that one. Just make sure you avoid the English dub, and start with episode 1. It has a prequel episode (episode 0) that's a little slower; see if you're into the show first before watching it (but see episode 0 sometime before episode 5). Is ACCA hidden? That's got political intrigue and an attempted coup with some twists and turns. I'm not sure if any of those are hidden for you, but I would recommend any of them.
