I replaced my CMC watching your video. But my clutch still goes to the floor, no pressure is built up. I tried pressure building using the Sealey VS820, clear fluid came out and some air bubbles, but the pedal still goes to the floor. I thought that should be enough after pressure bleed at 15-20 psi. I don't see any oil drip on the floor, so that makes me think, it's not the slave cylinder, otherwise there would be oil dripping from the bell housing. Don't know what am I doing wrong, it should have worked. Anyone has any idea?

No if your shock strut goes out from undercarriage. This car has sport suspension so the shock struts are bit shorter.

Hi, thanks for this great video. But what will happen when you replace a 90 ah batterie with a 100Ah or 80 Ah batterie? Is the system smart enough to understand it or how can I tell the car an other numer of Ah ?

E series has no indication. If you install different batteries the charging will be not correct and battery lifetime will be shorter.

Did you get same fault code ? The wiring can be corroded in connection, or BST sensor can be malfunctioning.

Same as music. Any way this system is supplemental so evaluate that it will not be 100 percent like origilal BMW bluetooth.

The crankshaft needs to be locked in place while doing this job, according to ISTA the correct tools are 117 221 and 117 222. Do not post idiotic stuff online recommending crazy redneck solutions. Grow up.

Hi. I am trying to establish a connection with my X5 E53 but takes too long and actually freezes the software. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Do I have to have the switch on the adapter to the right (like when I use ISTA D) or to the left? ISTA/D works just fine.

How did you lock the engine during damper disassembly and reassembly? Looking forward to do this job on my e61.

There are few options. 1. Use BMW special tool for locking flywheel codes 118183 and 118182. 2. Use old serpantine belt to lock vibration damper (Lots of examples in KZfaq) 3. Use flywheel locking tool through special access point in TDC position, locking pin from engine timimg tool. In my case I locked flywheel through timing posotion, assuming that M57 engine is made from thicker materials and locking pins ae also thick enough and will handle the loads. But is your own risk. Always use special tools to be 100% sure not to damage anything.

Hi, have no info about this. I can suplement this video by the info that the old one was original BMW shock absorber Twin Tube type. This type absorbers has an ability resit rod in both ways performing vacuum inside on high speed of working. I replaced old ones because I had them frozen during the winter. So it looks like old one has condensation inside and maybe low level of oil or lower pressure of gas, so maybe that is the reason why the old one makes a resistance of stroke during extension phase. Hope this will be useful for you.

You can name ir what ever you want. The point is about set up parameters. I found this profile in internet. This profile parameters let me solve VO(FA) reading and writing limitations while using NCS Expert. In other video I compare all orher profiles which I found.
