2024 now and nothing has changed . We just closed our PayPal account . Got a text message from allegedly PayPal support saying a charge was pending and it looked suspicious . We opened our PayPal account and rang the support number inside the official account . Got a rude Indian guy who pressured my wife for her credit card number and the security code . We said no to the security code and he became abusive and told my wife who had been polite to shut her mouth and he hung up . We rang our bank and no such charge was pending but we canceled our card anyway . This was a scam coming from inside PayPal support . We will never use PayPal ever again it's corrupted within .

Lovely drawings, beautiful rendering and all, but do you ever draw them in other orientations than top view? Have you done other studies on insects like they are interacting with the environment rather than entomological style drawings? Is it your intention for this sketch book to be this style of art?

thee easiest way to incorporate blue to zorn palette while keeping the integrity of the palette is to swap the payne's grey with indigo. Both paints have the same pigment composition (PB15, PV19/PR122, PBK6) and only different in ration resulting more bluish tint on the indigo, but both are practically the same. The mixability of the palette immensely improved with the switch to indigo; resulting cleaner yet still muted greens, and greys are as easy to mix anyway

i was just noticing how well you draw perspective and talk at the same time, when suddenly you mentioned the phase in your life where you wanted to be an interpreter. I think your love of languages connects to this very difficult task of speaking and drawing. I find language very difficult and i find drawing and talking nearly impossible. it feels like they are taking up the same bandwidth and cant operate cohesively within my mind. I'm curious how it feels to be flowing with both words and drawing at the same time, any advise?

I gave up looking and ended up just learning to make them. It worked out cheaper and easier. I was so frustrated with the over priced rubbish that was available and I never liked the paper that they put in them. If you possibly can, I do recommend trying it. It’s not as hard as you might think and you really only need a decent knife, straight edge, something to make holes and the rest you can improvise with. There are lots of tutorials. I like Coptic binding because it lays flat and is strong, but there are many options. You can even just glue it.

Lovely sketchbook tour! I love your Gouache painting style. I found your Zorn palette study with the color mixing guide fascinating to look at, too. Did you see that Kellogsloop has crowdfunded his own artbook? It should be released early next year and I'm super excited for it. Seems SketchbookCo has closed their shop, which is a bummer, but will probably save me from buying more sketchbooks when I still have plenty...
