Thank you so much for an informative video! Just wanted to check once again with you regarding Quartz countertop. You had told that it's not heat resistant. Apart from that I am worried about turmeric stains on quartz. It has to be used very carefully, isn't it?? Which are the good brands for quartz countertop?
@bouncybrain3 ай бұрын
Commonly, if a very hot pots are placed on quartz, you will see kind of discolored ring (shape of the pan) on the countertop. Quartz in general is non-porous, they in general repel scratches and stain. If the quality of the quartz is poor, then turmeric, as it has a vibrant yellow hue, can leave lasting marks on it.

Which sink is best for kitchen at present????Granite, quartz, Stainless steel???? Suggest me.
@bouncybrain4 ай бұрын
It depends on the quality of water at your house. Meaning, if it is too salty, then definitely stone types won't work over a period of time. Also we do use washing liquids which has chemicals, this requires continuous maintenance. Very importantly, stone sinks with joints will often becomes failure. Stainless steel is the best for our conditions. If you have a show counter, may be you can prefer to have one in stone.

@bouncybrain5 ай бұрын
I personally prefer marble as it has plenty of natural patterns and veiny look. But it requires special care. If you have any display counter or island Counter, then marble is better. If you are a hard user, then quartz is better in my opinion.

Sir please tell about porcelain counter top, pros and cons.. Urgent sir please
@bouncybrain9 ай бұрын
Porcelain is one of the good choice because of its durability, hardness and resistance to heat. Porcelain is fired around 2500⁰ F so it is extremely heat resistant. You won't need to worry about damaging the surface if you put a hot pan directly on top of it. Cracking is only a big issue during the handling, moving, and cutting of very large slabs. Ofcourse thickness matters. It may have bends if large slabs were preferred. It is also prone to scratches and cracks. That being said, almost everything is prone to scratching and cracking to some extent. It depends on how the user is handling the countertop. In terms of material and installation cost, porcelain slabs offer a more affordable price. Ofcouse depends on the locality as well. Porcelain is a low porous material, so it does not absorb any moisture; as a result, it also means that porcelain is very stain-resistant.

Hello. Quartz is expensive than granite in general. Better if you keep the dishwasher in utility area. This way you could segregate wet areas plus you get more storage under the counter in the kitchen area
